Sending an Item

The other day I ordered a flowery painting, which I was going to send to this guy Jose. It arrived today, so I took it to Tom Nook’s store and used the trading option to get a code for the item.

Tom Nook: You want a password so Jose in Spring can pick up this flowery painting?Code for a painting I sent to Jose.I talked to Puck, and he told me about how he was chasing butterflies so much that it made him dizzy.

Puck: You can't blame me! I love the way they flutter around.I went around town, pulling weeds and digging up items. I dug up a cabin bookcase, a couple of fossils, and then this…another flowery painting!

Check it out! I dug up a flowery painting!I wish I had found that before I went and ordered that one for Jose the other day! Doh! Anyway, I went to the wishing well to check my town status–hooray, it’s still perfect. I attached the two fossils I had to letters, but it required my last two sheets of paper. I don’t like buying paper unless I have to, so I checked the lost & found at the police station. Fortunately, they had some sunset paper in there.

Booker: Oh, that's sunset paper. I think, So...would that be yours?I talked to Kody, who asked me if he could have my cabin bookcase. I told him yes, and he was thrilled. Despite originally saying he had nothing to give me in exchange (liar!), he gave me a satellite. I’m not sure how Kody got ahold of a satellite, but I just accepted the item and moved along.

Kody: I've never met anyone as cool as you. Here, take this.I then went to the post office to deposit some money and mail my two fossils away to be identified. On my way back, I stopped by the dump and picked up the two furniture items there. I didn’t even check to see what they were; I’ll just sell them next time if they’re not something I want to keep. But I then headed for home and saved my game.

Cherry Blossom Festival

I started up the game and got the announcement that the cherry blossom festival was underway. The celebration takes place April 5-7, so today was the final day of the three day festival.

Attention, everyone! The Cherry Blossom Festival is about to begin! Before making my way to the festival, I first checked my mail. I got a goodbye letter from Astrid.

Astrid's goodbye letter.I then went over to the wishing well. Tortimer was there to celebrate the occasion, along with Tom, Puck, Tutu, Belle, and Baabara.

The cherry blossom festival.Puck: Oh man, I'm so stuffed. Not another bite...Tom: Well, look at the weather. Isn't this pleasant?Baabara was the dancer this year.

Baabara: HEY! Why am I the only one dancing here?Belle: Eating, drinking, dancing... That's what partying is all about! Whoop whoop! When I was done at the festival, I went to meet my new neighbor, Eloise the elephant.

Eloise: I'm Eloise. What do you think? Don't you wish it was your name?

Ding Dong, The Witch is Dead!

I opened my mail and got a goodbye letter from Yuka! Yes! Ding dong, the witch is dead!

Yuka's goodbye letter.I went around town, pulling weeds and talking to my neighbors.

Maple: Fine! Be that way!I also met my new neighbor, Alli Gator.

Alli: It's been sort of a pleasure meeting you!She didn’t make a good first impression on me.

Alli: I highly doubt you have a talented bone in your body.Emerald offered to buy a gyroid I had dug up, which I didn’t mind since my pockets were getting close to full anyway.

Emerald: I thought you'd never want to part with your metatoid!I saw Static by the wishing well and he offered to read my fortune for free. He told me my horoscope for today is super good.

Static: Super good! Before I was done playing, I decided to give All a proper greeting. Alli, meet Pitfall.

Alli, in a pitfall: What the--!?Here is a video of her walking right into the pitfall:
