Harvest Festival

I caught a flea that was on Lily, and she said she felt like she’s my pet! That’s an awkward thing to say to a friend…

Lily: I hope this doesn't sound weird, but... I kinda feel like I'm your pet, my liege!Later on, it was time for the harvest festival! I spoke with Tortimer outside of town hall, and he seemed a little bit too excited.

Tortimer: Gobble dee HO! Gobble dee HAY! It's the Harvest Festival today! He gave me a knife and a fork, and I began my search for Franklin. It wasn’t long before I spotted him sticking his head out from behind a house.

Franklin peeks out from behind a house.Franklin didn’t like how my neighbors were patting and squeezing him. He probably feels like one of them!

Franklin: And your neighbors! They can't keep their paws off me! Patting me here, squeezing me there...He took my fork and knife and gave me a harvest table in return. I received a new set of silverware from Tortimer and continued my walk around town. I was really just watering my flowers, but I kept my eyes open for Franklin along the way.

When I got to Nook ‘n’ Go, I noticed that they had two totem poles on sale. That’s pretty odd. There was a round cactus between them, so if I could have turned the camera angle, it would have looked like “lol.”

Two totem poles on sale in Nook 'n' Go, with a cactus in between them.I finished up my daily tasks, and I found Franklin four times altogether. In total, I ended up with a harvest table, chair, lamp, and clock.

Franklin: Help!

Cookie Moves In

In the southwest corner of town, I noticed a new house. I was surprised Pinky’s replacement moved in this quickly. I’m also a bit surprised by the house being in this location, because it’s pretty rare for this spot to be occupied.

A house in the southwest part of town, near palm trees and the beach.I went inside to meet my newest villager, Cookie.

Cookie: Oh! Hey, do you, like, live here? I mean, not here in my HOUSE here, but... Oh, never mind! When I spoke to her again, she told me my presence was stressing her out. And she kept asking me to leave! In case you can’t tell, she’s a female dog.

Cookie: Um, Jeff? I'm kinda freaking out right now, and having you here is making me all stressy.
