Octavian’s Recovery

It was dark and rainy in Forest tonight. Octavian sent me a letter in the mail, thanking me for giving him medicine while he was sick. He attached a djimbe drum to the letter. I like the stationery he used.

Jeff, I was one sorry sight when I had that cold, huh? What a mess I was! Sorry to make you fuss over me like I did. I'll make it up to you! -OctavianI saw someone walking behind the cliff, so I went to see who it was.

Octavian, standing out of sight behind a cliff: Wander around on a day like this one, and see what you discover, eagle eye.“See what I discover?” It looks like I discovered a talking cliff. Where are you?

I also found Wendy walking around in the rain. She was distressed over something. Something bad.

Wendy: This is bad! Ohmigosh, this is bad, bad, bad. Totally bad.
How bad?

She locked herself out of her house. That is pretty bad, but it’s way too late at night for me to go fishing for her key.

I also ran into Bunnie, and she wanted to buy my djimbe drum. She offered just 760 bells, but my pockets were full, so I gladly obliged. She thanked me for being so easy. Excuse me?

Bunnie: Wow, J-bot! Thanks for making it simple! You're the king of Easytown! With fossils I dug up, it wasn’t long before my pockets filled up again. When I see stray flowers that don’t belong, I’ll often pick them up to sell them or put them in my free flower area for Wi-Fi visitors. But when my pockets are full?

Me using my shovel to dig up some flowers, destroying them in the process.I found two new black roses tonight, which means I only need two more! It’s hard to believe that after working towards getting these flowers for years, I’m almost there! Of course I’ll still need to turn the black roses gold, but that’s an easier task than breeding the black roses to start with.

Just a reminder for people on my ACCF roster that this Friday (May 2nd) is my last Friday Night Forest for ACCF! I’ll also be opening my gate one last time on May 19th, but that’s on a Monday. If you’re on my roster, be there!

Ewe Came Back!

The other night, I bought some medicine for Octavian and delivered it to him.

Octavian flips, with his nose facing the floor, as he takes some medicine. And tonight, I took the bus to the city. When I returned, it began to rain. Sweet, no watering for me!

Me standing at the bus stop as the rain starts to fall.Last April, you may remember Wendy the sheep moved out without warning. But guess what? She’s back! Welcome back, Wendy!

Wendy: I used to live in a town called London, but this town is, like, 8,000 times better. This Wendy came from Claire’s town. I played with Claire last month when I took her some extra hybrids. I’ve had several animals move back in to Forest after leaving beore–Elmer, Miranda, and Peaches, to name a few. But I don’t think any of them have returned as quickly as Wendy. She was only gone a year before returning. Perhaps someday Bob will return as well.

Octavian was still sick today, so I bought him medicine once again.

Octavian: Gotta hand it to whoever invented medicine, though! I'm starting to feel better already, eagle eye!I didn’t find any new black roses today, but I have found some in recent days. So I believe I only need four more now!

Pate’s Departure

I got a goodbye letter in the mail today from Pate. I didn’t even know she was moving, but I don’t have a problem with that.

Dear Jeff, I'm moving away from Forest. Thanks for all the memories, Jeff! Byeeeee! -Yours, PateAnd Octavian was sick today, but Nook ‘n’ Go was already closed, so I couldn’t buy him any medicine. Hopefully he can survive until tomorrow.

Octavian: Huff, huff, huff... Can't speak... Too...painful, eagle eye.Unfortunately, I did not find any new black roses tonight.

Have a good weekend, everyone!
