Packed Mac

I had a feeling I might find one of my villagers packed up and ready to leave town, and that suspicion proved to be true. The very first house I entered tonight was Mac’s, and he’s about to hit the road, Mac.

Mac: So, I'm gonna be packing up and moving. It'd be a waste to keep biceps like these in one town.I’m sad to see my doggy run away from home…but at least it wasn’t Savannah or Static.

Outside, I met an electrician who wanted to re-wire the museum.

Static: Electrician here. Can I talk at ya for a sec?
You’re holding a fishing rod. You’re no electrician!

Actually, it was Static and he just wanted a new greeting. I told him to start saying “Bzzzt! Wrong!” That’ll come in handy if he ever hosts his own game show. Hey, that’s no less likely than him becoming an electrician!

Even though I’ve been playing ACCF just once a week for a while now (except in April/May when I was playing more for video clips), I rarely have lost any hybrids or Jacob’s ladders. Sure, many of them would be wilted each time, but it was rare to find any completely gone.

But that was not the case this time. Most of my (non-gold) hybrids, including all but three of the 12+ purple roses at Bob’s grave, were gone. Almost all of my Jacob’s ladders too. It had been 8 days since I played last, but that’s not that unusual for me. I’m really not sure what happened this time. It’s not a big deal or anything, but it does seem a bit odd.

Many flowers were missing from Bob's grave. And now that July is here, the full smorgasbord of summer bugs is now available. I made sure to catch some of the most tasty valuable ones, including this crunchy 8,000 bell cyclommatus. Happy bug hunting, everyone!

I caught a cyclommatus! Aw, it's so pretty!

  1. It does seem weird that a lot of hybrids died this week in particular. The only thing that’s changed is the month/season…but I wouldn’t have thought it would be because of that.
