Dotty Departs

As soon as I came out of my house today, Champ was standing there waiting for me. He asked me to make a delivery to Tangy…who was also nearby. 😛

Champ: Truck this over to Tangy, choo CHOO!

So I made the long journey over to Tangy, and handed her the gift. It was a Toad shirt, and Tangy put it on right away.

Tangy: Oh, wow! I think this is a Toad shirt!

After telling Champ I made the delivery, he rewarded me by giving me an illusion floor.

Dotty is now all packed up and ready to move out of town, so I went and said goodbye to her. I took a good look, ’cause it’s the last time.

Dotty: Don't forget what I look like! Take a goooooood look, wee one!

Over at Able Sisters, I bought myself a space suit. Now that Christmas is over, it’s time to put the Jingle shirt away. But Opal spotted the Jingle shirt in my pockets, and she gave me a blue-trim wall for it. She didn’t change into the shirt, though.

I then went over to Samson’s house and played with his bowling balls for a while.

After a quick trip to the city, I returned to town. Midge says that when she sees the snow, she forgets how cold it really is. Odd, because I’d think the mere existence of snow should give her a hint that it’s cold out here.

Midge: When I see the town blanketed in snow, it makes me forget how cold it really is, tweedledee.
Does Pete have mail for her, or is he just sniffing her hair?

I’ll be back on Monday to pick up my New Year’s shirt for 2018!

I Missed Clyde’s Day

I played a bit on Monday, and Dotty told me she was thinking about moving out of town. I didn’t try to stop her.

Dotty: Yeah, I guess you're right. No one would miss me if I left anyway...Tangy was outside in the snow, mentioning how freezing she was. Maybe it’s not the best weather for wearing that bikini?

Tangy: C-coooold... S-soooooooo c-c-cooooold... T-teeth so ch-ch-chattery...

I didn’t notice a new house on Monday…but apparently, it was there. I’m not even horsing around! That’s because I only met my new neighbor Clyde today! He was already unpacked and trotting around outside.

Clyde: Hey, nice to meetcha! I'm Clyde, and this is my very first time living on my own!

Dotty, meanwhile, is not packed up yet. Probably by next week.

I noticed there are now festive Christmas lights on many of the cedar trees around town, so I stopped to take a picture. The holiday season is upon us!

I then made a delivery for Midge (to Benedict), and she rewarded me with a regal wall. Not much else was going on today.

But I have finished up my latest ACCF video, as promised. It shows some funny, interesting, and memorable moments from 2017. Here is City Folk Moments #2! I hope you enjoy it.

I’ll be back again next week. Have a merry Christmas, and happy holidays to you all! 🙂

Mouse Trap

Winter is here, and snow now covers the ground in town. I ran into Midge today, and she asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek. I had ten minutes to find her, Samson, and Static.

Midge: OK, so here's the plan. We're gonna hide someplace in town, and you're gonna try to find us!A minute and a half later, I found Static hiding behind his own house! How lazy is that?

I continued my walk around town, stopping in Kitty’s house. I just had to admire her interior decorating skills. Not many people are brave enough to put a trash can in the center of their room like this. Right next to the chair, too! So I can relax and take a deep breath and enjoy the smells of yesterday’s dinner scraps.

Sitting in a chair next to the trash can in the center of Kitty's house.Christmas Eve is just ten days away. And on that night, there can’t be any creatures stirring…not even a mouse. So I set up a mouse trap.

I caught a rodent of unusual strength.

After a trip to the city (where it was snowing), I returned home to bang on my drum all day. Or for a while, at least.

I’ll be back next week with another entry…and a new ACCF video! 🙂 Hope to see you then!
