Broccolo told me he was having bad dreams last night. He blamed them on some iced tea he drank. Come on, mouse, you and I both know it wasn’t iced tea in your cup.
The Bug-Off insect-catching competition was held today, so I kept my eyes open for rare bugs while making my rounds. I spotted a rainbow stag, and I knew I had to catch it!
I took it to Nat, the judge of the Bug-Off, and he examined it and said it scored 84 points. That took over the top spot. Nat rewarded me with an exotic chair.
I took a little nap, and then returned to the game after 6:00 when the competition was over. Nobody topped my 84-point rainbow stag, so I was the official winner of the Bug-Off.
Nat said that he’ll send me my prize (the trophy) in the mail. I celebrated my win by popping off a couple of my party poppers that have been sitting there since New Year’s Eve.
