Bad News

The rainless streak continues, so I went around town to water my flowers. Of course I talked to some of my favorite animals as well. Bob was playing the role of “Fashion Lad” and gave me some advice.

Bob: Dab a healthy dollop of cheese souffle on your outfits for a look I like to call "cuisine couture."I also talked to Rowan.

Rowan: What's a JVGS?! Dude, it's so nice out! I gotta go get some rays, I watch U!And then I saw Saharah. She was looking for old wallpaper.

Saharah: I came from far away. I wish to trade wallpaper. It is for wallpaper that I came to your town today.I saw Avery and he asked me to make a delivery to Deena. It was a gelato shirt.

Deena: Ooo, what did you bring me? It's from Avery?I went around asking animals for old wallpaper. Of course this meant I had to speak to Jambette again. *shudder* But when I went into Kid Cat’s house, I saw something shocking.

Me shocked as I find Kid Cat ready to move out of town.Kid Cat is moving out! With no warning!

Kid Cat: Whoa! Super J?! I was trying to move out in secret, but you must've heard my muscles flexing.Very disappointing. Anyway, I ran into Avery again and told him that I made the delivery to Deena. He thanked me by giving me a scarecrow. (Oh look, your scarecrow is peeing!)

Avery: It's not really a proper thank-you, but I put aside a scarecrow for ya, inside me.After speaking with all of my animals, only Egbert and Avery had old wallpaper for me. You need three of them to get a rare wallpaper, so I just put those two into storage for next time.

A bit later though, I ran into Avery yet again. He said he heard a rumor that I had a scarecrow and he wanted to buy it! I went on and sold it back to him, even though he only gave me 159 bells for it.

Avery: What do you think? Is your scarecrow for sale? To your best buddy in the whole world? Huh?

Hump Day

Sable: Well, it's Wednesday...or "hump day," as they call it. Whoever "they" are. With today being Wednesday, I went to the city to check Crazy Redd’s new inventory for the week. He had a wagon wheel, a wistful painting, and a kayak. For whatever reason, I noticed that the word kayak is a palindrome, and a relatively uncommon one at that.

A wagon wheel, a wistful painting, and a kayak on sale in Crazy Redd's shop.I didn’t want any of those items, so I returned to Forest and talked to some of my animals.

Avery: ...You were spying on me! Does anyone else know about that?Bob was talking about Ness from Onett, saying he’s a total flyswatter. I’m not exactly sure what that means.

Bob: the word on the street is that he's a total flyswatter!I watered my flowers, but didn’t get any new black roses today. I taught Bob a new catchphrase.

Bob: Ahem! Um...I got sum! Er, I got sum! I got sum!And before I finished up for the day, I saw something dreadful:

Jambette sneaking up behind me. Ack!Jambette! I hadn’t seen her lately (thankfully) and I had almost forgotten my town had such a plague villager. Well, let’s hope I don’t run into her again anytime soon.

Happy Face

Today, Rowan approached me with an idea for a new nickname for me.

Rowan: OK, ready to have your mind blown? J-boo!Uh, no. I told him to use J-bot instead. I later saw Bob and a white cat over by the fountain.

A white cat (Blanca) and a purple cat (Bob) standing near my fountain.Of course, it was Blanca. She wanted a happy face, so I gave her one I got from Wal-Mart.

A smiley face design I made.I watered my flowers and found two new black roses today. I also went to the city to check for this week’s new emotions. Once again, there were no Frillard emotions.

Clerk: What show would you like to see today?
