Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Blog

Hello, and welcome to my Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Blog! I'm Jeff and here you can follow along with my adventures in the game. Unlike other Animal Crossing games, Happy Home Designer does not run in real-time. So each blog entry will usually cover multiple "game days." If you'd like, you can start from the beginning or just jump right in!

Day 44

I found Hamlet the hamster out on Main Street today. He told me he wanted a house that makes him feel like a professional soccer player. You mean like Mia Hamm?

The soccer-field rug, soccer goals, and a soccer ball were all obvious choices for a soccer arena. The stadium light public works project is now available, so I put in a couple of those as well. Hamlet's house is off to the side of the property, with a path leading to it that's lined with shrubs.

I felt that the indoors needed to be pretty much the same thing. This way, he can practice inside when it's cold or rainy outside. And in here, I can use things that I can't put outdoors--like a stadium wall and cheering sound scenery. He also insisted on a foosball table, and I put in a bench for the fans to sit and enjoy the game.

When I was done, Hamlet taught me the resignation emotion. The code to visit Hamlet's arena is 0890-7745-905.

Day 45

Before getting started today, I used the Happy Home Network to check out a princess hotel designed by Person (Bri). I noticed Tabby and Pietro were both here--yikes!

I went upstairs, and it looks really nice up here. I really wanted to eat Alfonso's tacos!

And Aurora looked so cute in green!

It was time to get back to work, so I headed out to Main Street. I ran into Jeremiah, who was is a bullfrog looking for blue furniture in a room that's blue from top to bottom. A house that's all blue? That's something I can do!

I gave him a house on the ocean, not only because the water is blue but also because he's a frog. I used a round blue rug, a blue fence, and some blue violets.

Naturally, the blue furniture set was unlocked for his house. Along with it, I put in a blue-trim wall and blue flooring. Blue balloons and blue pansies were also unlocked, so I included them as well. I added some other blue items, and I gave him a froggy chair to sit in. Unfortunately, I couldn't customize it to be blue--purple will have to be close enough. And last but not least, I gave him a pet frog.

He taught me the daydreaming emotion when I was done. If you're feeling blue, visit Jeremiah with project code 0893-7741-085.

Thanks for visiting. I'll be back with another entry soon!
