Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Blog

Hello, and welcome to my Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Blog! I'm Jeff and here you can follow along with my adventures in the game. Unlike other Animal Crossing games, Happy Home Designer does not run in real-time. So each blog entry will usually cover multiple "game days." If you'd like, you can start from the beginning or just jump right in! Or read my review.

Day 65

Merengue the strawberry shortcake rhino was on Main Street today, and she told me she wanted to live in a candy house, just like in the fairy tales. You mean like Hansel and Gretel? Are you going to kidnap kids and cook them in your oven?

I used the sweets house exterior parts and the sweets fence too. I used newly-unlocked cookie rugs and chocolate fountains to lead visitors to Merengue's gingerbread house, where they may meet their tasty demise.

The sweets furniture set was unlocked for this house, so I used all of it inside. I also put some other new food items on top of the bookcase and table. That included a candy jar, a Yule log, and pancakes. Do you like pancakes? Yeah, we like pancakes!

And last but not least, I put in a brick oven. You know, for baking...cakes.

Day 66

T-Bone the bull was on Main Street today, and he told me he wants to live in a place that celebrates the spirit of fire. I knew of just the place! But it would be rude of me to tell him to go there, so instead, I offered to build a house for him. (Close call. I nearly made a fool of myself in front of T-Bone).

A bonfire and tiki torch have been unlocked with this project, so I put a bunch of them in the yard. A plastic canister is also now available, so I left it by the side of his house. I hope it doesn't make T-Bone look like an arsonist. If anyone says he is, it's most definitely a bunch of bull. And in case he gets hungry, I put in a barbecue spit.

Indoors, I used the magma-cavern wall and lava floor. I added a variety of fire-related items in here; this room is hot. I would have liked to use some sound scenery here, but unfortunately there isn't a "crackling fire" one.

If you want to go to...T-Bone's house, just enter project code 0704-7704-955.

Thanks for stopping by!
