Kiki Arrives

My house has now been expanded to 6 x 6. Now I’m not so crowded in my house. It’s just what my flying saucer wanted…more space.

My flying saucer in my newly expanded house.

As soon as I came out of my house, I noticed a new house just behind my own. I went inside, and met my newest neighbor, Kiki. She’s a black cat that admittedly looks a bit weird, but I actually like her quite a bit. I’ve had her in my City Folk and GameCube towns before.

Kiki: Nice to meet you! Out for a nice evening walk, are you, kitty cat?

She is my 8th villager in town. Sadly, that is the maximum number of animal villagers you can have in Wild World (as opposed to 10 in New Leaf and City Folk, and 15 in the GameCube game). But on the bright side, maybe somebody will move out soon. We’ll see.

When I went into Nook ‘n’ Go, Tom Nook informed me that I now owe him 120,000 bells for my house expansion. Ouch. That’s going to take me a while. On the bright side, he did have a slingshot for sale today, which I bought. Still no bug net, though.

Tom Nook: Why, yes, that would be a slingshot. It sells for 500 bells.

When I ran into Chevre, she wasn’t very happy with me for blowing her off on Sunday. Oh well. She didn’t give me the option to cancel, and I wasn’t going to wait around an hour just for her.

Chevre: You promised to meet me. And you never came. You blew it, huh...

I met up with Yuka outside, and she is still waiting on me to give her some chic furniture (from when she asked me on Saturday). Hahaha, I’m never going to give her any! I’m glad to see she’s still waiting, though. Let her be even more disappointed. Or angry, even. I’ll enjoy every second of it! 😀

Yuka: I could just totally relax in a place filled with chic furniture!
Then you shall never have any. 😛

Pate told me that the fishing tournament is coming up soon. Hopefully I’ll remember to play early enough in the day to participate!

I visited Baabara in her house, and she asked me what was the prettiest thing in the world. I refused to choose the “You, of course” option and I said “Um, depends” instead. She wasn’t happy that I didn’t pick her, and she wanted me to say “Hail Queen Baabara” for forgiveness. That’s shear lunacy. Keep dreaming.

Baabara: At times like this, just shout, "Hail Queen Baabara!"
Baabara: Different game, same attitude.

Over by town hall, Chevre asked me if I had a cup on me. I don’t understand the question, and I won’t respond to it I told her no. She then lectured me about staying germ free, and then she gave me a tartan rug. What does a tartan rug have to do with germs, or a cup? I was very confused.

Chevre: Just remember, always was your hands, Jeff, and keep a clean cup handy!

After digging up a fossil and donating it to the museum, I returned home and ended my game for the night. See you next time!
