Flea Market

As I started up the game, I was notified that the flea market was going on today. It’s a day when you can visit your neighbors and buy their possessions, or they can offer to buy things from your house. I visited Kiki first, but she didn’t really have anything I wanted.

Kiki on flea market day: Just tell me if something catches your fancy. Sound good to you, kitty cat?Next I went into Bill’s house. He had two birdcages, and I wondered if they were his kids. I asked about the one on the left, and he offered to give it to me for 770 bells. I bought it, just to cause drama in his family. (You did WHAT?!)

Bill on flea market day: Tell you what! I'll sell it to you for 770 bells! But then I wondered if he would sell his other kid too. I asked, but he refused! I guess we know who his favorite child is!

Bill: That's pretty sweet, huh? I'll never let that go. I train with it every day!Static had a different way of asking me which items I was interested in: He said he wanted to know which of his items smelled the worst! But I wasn’t interested in his stuff, regardless of the dollars and scents.

Static: Now, I know my stuff all has a weird kinda odor to it. I'm aware of that!Static: But I need to know which piece is the MOST stinky! Will ya tell me?I dug up three fossils today, and I donated all of them to the museum.

Blathers: Ah! Terribly sorry, wot? Ancient plants turn me into a veritable hootbox!Since it’s Saturday night, I made sure to go downstairs and catch K.K.’s live music show. I let him pick a random song, and he performed K.K. Ragtime for me.

After that, I made a 25,000 bell payment on my mortgage. When I stepped out of town hall, I had a chat with Puddles. She asked me to pick a name for her pet fish. I chose “Gill Boy,” and she really liked the name. To thank me, she gave me a Nintendo bench!

Puddles: And TAKE CARE OF IT, OK?! It wasn't easy finding a Nintendo bench!I went home to look at it. But before I could put it down, Baabara barged into my house, looking for something to buy for the flea market! Ugh! I wasn’t interested in selling anything, so I quickly left my house, just to get rid of her.

Baabara: OK then, I'm leaving now. Try not to cry. See ya, daahling.Immediately, I went back in and ran to the back wall. I put the bench down and took a seat. Pretty cool!

Sitting on the Nintendo bench in Animal Crossing: Wild World. But the instant I got up off of the bench, Puddles barged in. Ugh!

Puddles: Are you here, Jeff? It's me! Puddles! Your bestest friend ever?
No. No, no, no, no!

Flea market day is definitely not the time to hang out in your house, especially if you’re hoping to redecorate. I was done playing for the night, so I just went upstairs and went to bed (even as Puddles was still in my house). See you all next time!
