Pudge Moves In

I found a new house in Forest tonight, and it belongs to Pudge the bear cub. I guess he’s okay, but I don’t think he’s going to be one of my favorites.

Pudge: Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Pudge, pudgy.
Not the most creative catchphrase.

Down on the beach, I discovered another note in a bottle. This is the third one I’ve found so far. It was from a company called Beautychem Labs, offering to pay 3,000 bells for hour to try on cosmetics.

SIT THERE AND GET PAID! All you need to do is test some fine cosmetics. Over 3,000 bells per hour. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!! -Beautychem LabsI had a chat with Bill, and he asked if bigger is better when it comes to houses. I said yes, and that pleased him. He said if I called the shots around here, Forest would be big-time. Hmm, good idea. Maybe I’ll even be the mayor some day! 😉

Bill: Dr. J, if you called the shots, Forest'd be big-time in no time!
Careful what you wish for. I may enact the “Duck Season” ordinance.

I happened to notice that when you hit a tree with your shovel, it’s not just the tree you hit that shakes. Other nearby trees also jiggle.

Nearby trees jiggle when one tree is hit with a shovel.I found two fossils in town tonight, but the museum already had both of them. It was a pretty uneventful night overall, but I’ll back again on Saturday with more. Hope to see you then.
