My First Winter

Winter has arrived now, with snow covering the trees and ground. Except for the many dirt spots all over town, of course. Snowballs (for making snowmen) have also started appearing.

Snow covers the winter ground and trees, as I walk towards a snowball.I saw Chevre walking around, so I was a bit relieved to see that she didn’t move out. She didn’t have anything interesting to say tonight, though.

I made sure to check the bulletin board for the new message of the week, and it did not disappoint.

*Message of the Week* History? Written by winners. Message boards? Losers.I ran into Pudge outside of the museum, and he asked if I wanted to buy his plaster wall for 1,180 bells. After I told him that was too much, he gave it to me for free. I was grateful, but only for a moment. Until he called me scary, that is. What do you mean by that?!

Pudge: And don't worry about thanking me... You're scary right now!Puddles was also nearby, and she wasn’t being any nicer than Pudge. She was making fun of me for being poor, and she joked that I would be her best friend if she gave me one bell.

Puddles, laughing: Hey, if I give you one bell, will you be my best friend, splish?!I tried making a snowman, but I wasn’t having much success. Twice, I (apparently) crashed or otherwise destroyed snowballs behind trees. But I eventually found two of them fairly close together, and I was able to make a snowman. But, it was facing the back of Baabara’s house. Hopefully there’s not a window back there.

Snowman: Foooooooore! Say hey! Nice work putting me together like that.
What’s with Puddles giving me the evil eye in the background?

I found three fossils on my walk around town tonight. I think the snow makes buried items easier to see. Two of the fossils were donated to the museum, while the other one was returned to me.

I then made a 25,000 bell mortgage payment at town hall before ending my game for the night. See you again on Saturday!
