Spring Arrives

All the winter snow has now melted, so grass and trees are green once again! Welcome, springtime!

Green grass and trees on the first day of spring.

A message on the bulletin board suggested an unusual game of bowling to help with sadness. “Throw a few balls down the lanes of your soul,” it says. I can’t even imagine how that would work.

-Talking to Myself- When you're sad, throw a few balls down the lanes of your soul. I threw 3 strikes the other day!
A bowling metaphor? Oh, spare me.

When I spoke with Yuka, who was suspiciously standing in the northeast corner of town, she told me that she was holding a bug net to catch bugs. But then she added that it’s fun to catch people, too! Did she just admit to kidnapping?

Yuka: Though, honestly, it's fun to catch people, too! I'm evil!Tom Nook didn’t have anything new to tell me about his backstory today. But there must be more to it, because what he said last time didn’t seem like an ending. Maybe he’ll say more next time.

Down at the Roost, I caught some live music. K.K. Slider performed Rockin’ K.K. for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: Rockin' K.K.!Chevre asked me to make a delivery to Puddles, and I agreed to help out. I had to walk around a while before I found the pink frog, but I eventually got the gift to her. I was a bit surprised to see what was inside, though…a skull shirt. Is Chevre threatening Puddles??

Puddles: A skull shirt... Going for the safe choice, huh, la baa?Forest seems like a dangerous, violent town tonight. Yuka’s out kidnapping people, Chevre is sending skulls to threaten Puddles, and whoever posts on the bulletin board might throw some balls down your lane. 😛

Puddles seemed to enjoy the skull shirt, though. When I returned to Chevre, she rewarded me with 510 bells for my trouble.

After that, I went to town hall to make a 20,000 bell mortgage payment. I then returned home, put my new song in my stereo, and ended my game for the night. Enjoy the weekend (and the new spring season), everyone! See you next time! 🙂
