Chevre Disappears

I was quite surprised to find a goodbye letter from Chevre in the mail today. She was not packed up the last time I played, so I’m not sure what happened. This was completely out of nowhere, and I’m sad to see her go.

Dear Jeff, I'm moving out! Gonna see the world! Everyone in Forest was fun, but you were always the best! Good-bye! -ChevreIt was raining in town tonight, at least when I first started up. Kiki was not enjoying the rain, and she was looking forward to going home and having a nice hot cup of tea.

Kiki: It's cold, it's getting dark, and this rain just won't let up, ki ki ki!I didn’t mind the rain at all, because I thought it would give me a chance to finally catch a snail. But sadly, the rain stopped about three minutes after I started up the game! I guess you can fail to catch a snail.

I was a bit tired of wrestling with my fashion choices, so I decided to buy a night sky tee at Able Sisters. Now I’ll look like a star!

When I went into Nookington’s, Tom Nook discussed my house upgrade that I mentioned last time. He told me that I now owe him 728,000 bells. Ouch. He reminded me to pay at town hall, but did he really need to call me a crazy person? I mean, how did he even know?

Tom Nook: Not now, you crazy person! Did you forget? Not now. It’s too bad that I sold my old shirt, because Rod was looking for some new clothes. He said he sweats like a pig, and I believe him. For such a small mouse, he sure has some big body odor.

Rod: Yeah, well, I sweat like a pig, so I run out of clean shirts before you can blink!

The bulletin board’s message of the week said that smiles are free, but they’re worth a lot.

*Message of the Week* Smiles are free. But they're worth a lot.I did a little fishing, but I didn’t catch anything new. After finding the money rock and identifying two fossils I dug up, I went over to town hall. I made my first payment (30,000 bells) on my new loan.
