Completing the Fossil Exhibit

Kiki was still sick, so I gave her some medicine for the 5th straight time! Maybe it’s time to admit she’s dying and just say goodbye. After she drank the medicine, she said she could feel the toxins draining from her body.

Kiki: Ahhh... I can feel all the toxins draining from my body...But then she said, maybe it’s just the snot! 😮 OMG, Kiki!

Kiki: At least, I think it's the toxins...but maybe it's snot.I found Dr. Shrunk in town, and he taught me the blankness emotion. It’s the emotion where the wind blows and a brown leaf blows by. It’s the same emotion that’s called “cold chill” in New Leaf, and “disinterest” in City Folk. I wonder why they keep changing the name. *blank face*

Shrunk: Wonderful! You've learned how to express blankness!

Summer nights are good for bug-catching, so I kept my eyes out for new bugs. I ended up catching four new kinds: a fruit beetle, a saw stag beetle, an elephant beetle, and a hercules beetle!

I caught a hercules beetle!

Since it was raining, I also did some fishing…mainly hoping to find a coelacanth. I never caught one, but I catch one new fish: a puffer fish.

I also fished out four pieces of trash! That included an old boot, an old tire, and two old tin cans. I put it all into the recycle bin at town hall.

Four pieces of trash I fished out of the waters in town, as seen in the recycle bin in ACWW.While I was there, I also made a 20,000 bell mortgage payment.

Anyway, I took my new catches over to the museum. Five new donations is a really good night, right? But it got better…

I only found one fossil in town tonight. But that one fossil turned out to be a parasaur skull. Not only did that complete the parasaur, but it completed the entire fossil exhibit at the museum!

Blathers: Ah. Hoo. Did I spit on you? I rarely get to cut loose like that, wot? I'm an owl.Blathers: You know what this means?! The fossil exhibit is now complete, wot! This is only the first section of the museum to be completed, but I’m still quite happy to be done with it. The other sections will likely take many months, and maybe even years for the art collection. But all in all, I’d say it was a pretty good night. 🙂
