An Unproductive La-Di-Day

It was storming in town tonight, just like it was last Saturday. I got a letter in the mail from Mom, and she wrote about how autumn snuck up on us.

Dear Jeff, All of the sudden, I can hear crickets and grasshoppers. Fall snuck up on us again. Guess summer's over. -MomToday is La-Di-Day, so the animals in town were talking about their singing skills. Kiki even said that’s going to become a superstar! Good luck, Kiki!

Kiki: Next, I'm gonna get myself a record deal and become a superstar, le meow!Joey the duck was sick with a cold, so I gave him some medicine. He flipped for it. Get well soon, ducky.

Joey flips as he takes some medicine.A new “Talking to Myself” message on the bulletin board talked about safety. The author always sets things down horizontally instead of vertically.

-Talking to Myself- If something can sit vertically or horizontally, I always set it horizontally. Safety first!
Of Course you Do.

I went to the museum, where Blathers identified some dino droppings for me. And downstairs in the Roost, K.K. Slider performed a waltz.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Waltz! In front of town hall, Hopper asked me if I was from the countryside. The option for yes was “wooo-haaa!” which I thought was pretty funny. 😀

Hopper: You're not from the countryside, are you, slushie?

My villagers continued to talk about the (potentially) new town tune, but no one actually sang one for me. That’s because I generally just talked to each villager once, and they don’t usually sing unless you talk to them a few times. Oh well, I’m fine with the town tune we have now.

Rod: No WAY this husky voice of mine isn't gonna make the new town tune, in my ears!I did a little fishing, but not much. I saw some large fish shadows in the ocean, but none of the were coelacanths. Every one was either a sea bass or a salmon.

I wrapped up my night by making a 25,000 bell mortgage payment at town hall.

  1. On my first La-Di-Day this is what happened. I got to hear Pudge, Mallary, Frobert and Bella sing and I liked each of their songs. Since I spoke to Bella last, her song is the new town tune. Kiki, Walker, Limberg and Poncho didn’t sing. Poncho was going to move out of town but after five times he admitted he lost his passport. I feel like I’m a little too Poncho clingy and Frobert clingy because I have them in both Wild World and New Leaf. I did get Poncho to reconsider because I want a little longer and he is my best friend in both games. I still am working hard for Frobert’s pic which is why I am not letting him move. As you might recall, I have Bella’s pic, Walker’s pic and Poncho’s pic. I still need Frobert’s and Kiki’s because Mallary, Pudge and Limberg are my enemies in Wild World. My only enemy in City Folk is Yuka. I an not a huge fan of her and I’m trying to get her to move. Peggy the peppy pig just moved out and I got Fang the wolf as her replacement. Now I had three wolves in my City Folk history. I had Freya who was Lobo’s girlfriend (Lobo was my initial cranky villager and I still have him plus he is nice). Freya was a total jerk. Thank goodness I got her to move. I also had Pudge and Octavian in City Folk but they moved out. In case if you were wondering who my two jock villagers are in City Folk they are Drift the frog and Rowan the tiger instead of Frobert and Poncho. I don’t need the latter in all three of my games but I am fine with it even if I had them. In case you didn’t know I don’t own a copy of Gamecube.
