Disney Magical World Blog

Nintendo has provided me with an advance copy of Disney Magical World, which is now available for Nintendo 3DS. It has some gameplay similarities to Animal Crossing, while also featuring over 60 Disney characters. I'll be writing about the game and providing regular updates as I progress through the game. Want to start from the beginning?

Day 22: Clearing All Episodes

I went on an action quest in Alice's world and it required me to beat the world's final boss twice. When I completed the stage, I got a recipe for an unbirthday cake. Also, no more levels appeared on the list here, so I am apparently done with all episodes in this world. That means the episodes on Cinderella's world are the only ones left.

After doing a favor for Mickey and Pluto, I was able to take a commemorative photo with them outside of my cafe. Minnie also joined in the picture.

The best (and only) cafe in town!
I then went on an action quest in Cinderella's world. It had a double world-boss fight too. Later on, I went to the Royal Ball and cleared it on my second try. I got my 79th sticker for clearing the Royal Ball with the top rating.

I actually don't care for them.

I also cleared the two-star version of the Royal Ball in one try and the three-star version in two tries. No new episodes appeared, so I believe I may have now completed all episodes in the game. I still have the Magic Dungeon to deal with, though.

But for now, I decided to take a break and work at the cafe. I started putting in all Aladdin-themed decorations: Wallpaper, carpet, table, chairs, and counter. I dressed the staff in Aladdin-themed clothes, and made three Aladdin-themed food dishes. I also put in a decoration (a magic lamp ornament) for good measure.

The customer in the cat ears may not be a fan.

Doing this earned me a sticker for making "6+ theme combos at the cafe." As soon as I clicked that sticker bubble, another sticker bubble came up: It said I completed a secret theme combo! I now have 81 stickers, but I'm not done in the cafe just yet. When my party meter filled up, I held a party and Aladdin showed up! I took a commemorative photo with him, and that earned me yet another sticker.

Aladdin was hanging around.
Since I was now able to unlock the 5th floor down of the Magic Dungeon, I headed there next. The fifth room had a lot of hopping enemies that kept coming at me. They weren't hard individually, but the sheer volume of enemies made it a bit tricky. However, I was still able to clear the level with a whopping 22 magic stones remaining. And to my surprise, clearing this room cleared the quest! This was the bottom and final floor of the dungeon! This earned me a secret sticker--my 83rd.

With all of the episodes cleared, I can focus on my cafe more now, and the assortment of 17 stickers I still need. I'll see you all next time!
