Disney Magical World Blog

Nintendo has provided me with an advance copy of Disney Magical World, which is now available for Nintendo 3DS. It has some gameplay similarities to Animal Crossing, while also featuring over 60 Disney characters. I'll be writing about the game and providing regular updates as I progress through the game. Want to start from the beginning?

Day 36: November DLC

One day at McDuck's, the two large furniture items for the day were a Halloween themed table and...a Halloween themed table.

Hmm, which to buy?
In mid-October, a resident offered me a skeleton box recipe in exchange for some Belle pumps. I accepted the trade of course, and then I had the skeleton box made at the workshop. That was the last skeleton item I needed, and I have now completed both of the seasonal furniture sets (Halloween and skeleton).

Is Jack in the box?

November is here now, and that means there's a new DLC item available. This month's item is the casual winter T-shirt, and it's a free download.

I may need some dandruff shampoo. I see flakes on my shirt.
And to my surprise, the Halloween decorations have already been taken down! This is quite a contrast to the spring, in which the Easter decorations were kept up for months after Easter was over.

Hercules does not count as a decoration.
But the lack of decorations does not mean that winter is here just yet. Fall fashions are still available at McDuck's, as are the Halloween furniture sets. So you still have time if you haven't completed those sets.

As for my own collection completion progress, things are moving along slowly. I have 280 of the 300 trading cards now, but it's probably going to be a while until I get them all. As for furniture, I still need one item from the Mickey set (in addition to future seasonal sets). I'm still playing the game daily, and usually twice a day, to check for requests and items at the shop.

Thank you for visiting! I'll see you next time.
