Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

In the Frozen world, I went on an action quest where I had to risk my life…for chocolate!

Quest Start! Get back Anna's chocolate!

I later had to risk my life to find some sticks to use as arms for a snowman! These ice witches send me into danger for the stupidest things!

Near the castle, I saw a building I could have unlocked quite a while ago, but didn’t. It’s Miss Teri’s Shop of Wonder. Here, you can exchange nice points for good luck charms or mystery items like improved fishing rods and new recipes for food, clothes, and furniture!

Miss Teri: Are you the kind of person who believes in that which you cannot see?

I went on a shopping spree, buying up as much as I could. I earned a new sticker for buying a mystery item. I’m also close to earning another for buying 30 recipes from her.

As soon as I left Miss Teri’s shop, Letta appeared and said that Miss Teri was looking for me. So Letta put me right back inside the Shop of Wonder! Miss Teri told me that twinkle stones can create puzzle pieces, and she started me off by giving me some red twinkle stones. I was able to use her new twinkle stone option to exchange them for a random puzzle piece.

As I left her shop, a new world opened up! It’s based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! After barging into the dwarfs’ house, they kicked me out because they were too hungry to focus on anything else. The episode board in this world then became available to me.

The seven dwarfs walk by.

The first episode just involved a lot of button-pressing as I just watched a long, boring conversation. Each dwarf would tell the next one to cook food, and on down the line, until they finally told me to do it. So I had to get a stew going.

The second episode involved me cleaning their house. By pressing the A button at sparkling locations around the house, I would pick up the piles of dust and clean the house. Once I was done, Snow White and the prince showed up.

In the third episode, I went mining with the dwarfs. The object is to swing your pickaxe in the same rhythm as the dwarf you’re with. This is how you earn twinkle stones.

Letta then appeared and gave me another letter from Yen Sid. He sent me an outfit that will turn me into a merperson. This will allow to enter the underwater world of Atlantica. But I’ll cover that in the next entry.

Back in Castleton, I unlocked a stand for Three Little Pigs Renovations. They can remodel the outside of your home by replacing your walls, roof, door, or mailbox.

Note: My game has crashed for a third time the other night, once again while working in the cafe. Three crashes in such a relatively short period of time is really a lot. I expect better from a Nintendo published game, to be honest.

That’s all for now, but I’ll see you next time as I head off to the wet world of Atlantica.

Frozen World

I saw something surprising on the beach today: It was a snowman! In fact, it was Olaf from Frozen!

Olaf from Frozen napping on the beach.

He said he was just about to go back to Arendelle, and he invited me to go along too! So we took a boat ride through the gate to the Frozen world!

Olaf was looking for Anna and Elsa, but Elsa’s servant said they went to the Valley of the Living Rock. I was then able to use the episode board here. Right on cue, Letta showed up with a letter from Yen Sid. He sent me an ice crystal wand to use in the action quests. I started it out, and I love the scenery here. The frozen tundra, the glistening ice, and the frosty, icy trees are beautiful. You can almost feel the chill.

An action quest in the Frozen world in Disney Magical World 2.Once I completed the quest, I met Anna, Elsa, and Grand Pabbie. I completed two more action quests before returning to Castleton.

Elsa: I'm Elsa, queen of Arendelle.

I unlocked a new style shop inside of Daisy’s boutique. A chipmunk named Clarice runs it, and she can make customizations to the colors and styles of clothes that you bring in. You’ll need twinkle stones to make the changes, and you keep the original outfit even after making a customization. I didn’t have the stones to change my outfit (at least not any twinkling ones), but I’ll have to stop by again sometime.

Clarice: That thing you're holding there is just so beautiful.

After completing another episode in the Frozen world later on, I got a recipe for a new magic wand. I took the recipe to Yen Sid, and he made the snowflake wand for me. Fortunately, I already had the ingredients I needed. I earned a sticker for making my first silver rare wand.

The snowflake wand in Disney Magical World 2.I finished up my night with another episode in 100 Acre Wood. Pooh got stuck in a hole in Rabbit’s house, and we all had to pull our Pooh out.

All of us trying to pull Pooh out.

Our attempt was unsuccessful, and we decided to just wait until Pooh got thinner. Rabbit wasn’t happy about the new view from inside his house.

Rabbit: Oh, dear. If I have to face that...

So he decided to just decorate around the Pooh hole. My new object of the episode was to gather two splendid sticks. I was scared to see how the sticks were going to be used, but I went out and gathered them anyway.

Rabbit, after receiving two sticks: I can decorate Pooh's bottom quite nicely with these!
Why is this a thing?

He ended up using them as antlers. Oh, deer.

Rabbit: It's not bad, not bad at all!I also had to find a certain flower to wish Pooh to get well soon. But by the time I did, Pooh felt like he had lost some weight. So we all pulled on Pooh, and this time he plopped out. What a relief. With that business taken care of, I ended my game for the night.

There is one other note I’d like to share: Last night, I again had the game crash on me. It happened while I was working in the cafe, just like the first time. I suggest saving your game frequently, particularly when working in the cafe. See you next time!

100 Acre Wood

I was playing the game last night, working in my cafe…when the game froze and crashed. I didn’t lose much progress (only a few minutes worth), so it’s no big deal. Hopefully it won’t happen again.

I returned to Hawaii and started the third episode. It’s another action stage, but this one has some fishing spots in it. I soon earned the “Fishing Fun” sticker for catching five types of fish. After completing the episode, I met up with Lilo and Stitch, and we took a commemorative photo together.

A commemorative photo with Lilo and Stitch...and friends.

I also get a Lilo & Stitch puzzle frame, which earned me another sticker. But from now on, I’m probably not going to mention every sticker I earn. They seem to come in bunches early in the game like this, and I don’t want to bore you with the details of the less interesting ones.

When I returned to Castleton, there were three balloons in the plaza. I grabbed onto them, and they took me to Winnie the Pooh’s world of 100 Acre Wood!

Flying on balloons into Winnie the Pooh's world.

I floated over to Winnie himself, who was stuck dangling in a tree after his own balloon got stuck.

Pooh: I've been dangling here ever since.
Nobody enjoys a dangling Pooh.

After I helped him down, Pooh asked me to talk to all of his friends. So I met up with Eeyore, Tigger, Owl, Rabbit, and Piglet. The episode board for this world was then unlocked, allowing me to begin gardening for vegetables. Here’s a look at my tiny starting gardening space.

Should I crop this picture?

I completed two more episodes here, and just like in the first game, these episodes do not include action quests. They involve farming and fetch quests. They’re quite easy to complete, but they still seem tedious and time-consuming. Some of them have a lot of text to scroll through.

Tigger: We'll tie 'em all up with the ribbon!

One other note about 100 Acre Wood: A balloon allows you to quickly travel back and forth between your cafe and 100 Acre Wood. It’s very helpful for the times when you need to grow some crops for some dishes you’re trying to make.

Back in Castleton, I saw there was a new shop I could unlock. It turned out to be Minnie’s salon. She can change your hairstyle, hair color, eye color, and glasses. So if you’re tired of your character’s look, you can change it once you unlock Minnie’s salon.

Minnie Mouse: I can give you a new hairstyle, change your hair color...

You can also buy sparkles here: They make your character sparkle and shine, wherever you go. Different shapes of sparkles are available, and you’ll earn a new sticker for trying one on. I don’t really feel the need to sparkle, but here’s an example of what they look like (this one is called superstar sparkles).

To fulfill a cafe request, a I threw a Tangled themed party (after building some furniture to fit the theme). Rapunzel and Flynn both showed up, and we all danced on stage. I forgot to change the staff outfits to match the theme, but oh well. Flynn is so tall that he towers over me.

Come on, dance a little! Let your hair down.

I earned several miscellaneous stickers for working in the cafe, doing favors for residents, and making some furniture. I currently have a total of 38 stickers. See you next time!
