Changing Paths

This morning, Reese was buying turnips for 163 bells each. Even though that’s not a HUGE amount, I didn’t want to turn down a decent profit–especially after breaking even last week. So I sold all my turnips for a total of 195,600 bells.

Reese: Well then...I could probably part with 195,600 bells for all of it, if that sounds OK with you? When I played later on in the day, I checked my mail. Crazy Redd sent me the dynamic painting I purchased yesterday. It turned out to be the real deal, so I donated it to the museum.

Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji The Great Wave off KanagawaWhen I checked Re-Tail again later, I was disappointed to see that the turnip price had gone way up since this morning. They’re now selling for 290 bells each…ouch.

Reese: Currently, I'm buying each turnip for 290 bells.I decided to ditch the ice brick blocks and make something greener. Especially with St. Patrick’s Day coming up in a few weeks. I tried several shades of green, and I’m not sure which is best. So this is how it looks at the moment, but I might (or might not) change the shade in the coming days/weeks.

My new green brick path. When I made way to my sumo ring, I was thinking it’s kind of an eyesore.

My sumo ring.I may try to play it again this Friday night, but after that, I may take it down. I don’t have a place to keep all these pitfall seeds, anyway.

After completing my walk around town, I headed up to Main Street. Luna told me that Saarah from Pokotown was my most recent dream visitor. And the Able Sisters had a Festivale accessory that was called…Festivale accessory.

Labelle: The Festivale accessory? Ooh, good choice! In the Emporium, Big Top was telling me how much he loves the smell of dirt. Interesting.

Big Top: This might sound kind of weird, but I really love the smell of dirt, peanut.I went out to a Club Tortimer island and played a couple tours with Camille. Even though she would happily select a tour to play, she didn’t speak…at all. Not hello, not goodbye, nothing. Oh well.

Going on a tour with Camille.I made a quick visit to Tom’s town, and two of his other friends came too. We took bites of the big snow cone!

Eating the snowman!Actually we were just sneezing on the snowman, but I liked the other explanation better. When I returned to Forest, one of villagers told me that Rolf was sick. So I bought some medicine for him. I thought he was going to pounce on me!

Rolf attacks me!Besides changing to green bricks, I have another tradition I do ahead of St. Patrick’s Day. If you’ve been following my ACCF blog and/or videos, you likely know of Mohawk McClover already. But I needed a few things to complete the look: A mohawk wig, green hair, and a club shirt. I ordered the mohawk wig from my catalog, but I didn’t have a club shirt in there. Fortunately, Leo was able to help me out by bringing me the shirt.

Leo brings me a club tee. Thanks, Leo! I didn’t dye my hair green yet, since it woudn’t look good without the mohawk. Of course, some would argue it doesn’t look good with the mohawk, but that’s besides the point. 😛 Mohawk McClover will be in full force tomorrow, though! Hope to see you then!
