Gala’s Last Olive Flounder

Wendy’s Re-Tail was buying turnips for 234 bells each today, so she invited me over to sell my turnips. I sold them all for a total of 748,800 bells.

Reese: Currently, I'm buying each turnip for 234 bells. While I was there, Wendy showed me her new zen streetlights. They look really nice! Not many people seem to have these, but they should!

Wendy's zen streetlights.Wendy ended the session, and I opened my gate so she could shop in my town. Once she was done, I deposited my turnip money into my bank account, and my balance topped 23 million bells.

Your current balance is 23,160,000 bells.Up at the Happy Homes Showcase, Arnold from FatVille gave me a bubble wand.

Drago: As my way of saying thanks, please keep that flea as a present!Aurora was still sick today, so I gave her some medicine one again.

Gulliver: There are live mariachi bands that perform such fun, lively music it makes you dance, even in the heat!Over on the Friend Code Exchange page, I won a giveaway for 10 assorted balloons. A special thanks to Katie from Skyville! Some of these balloons will find their way into future giveaways of my own.

Jeff: Thank you very much!I held a different giveaway today, for the bubble wand I got earlier. Heather was the winner, so I headed to Hell to deliver the prize.

Welcome to Hell.Enjoy the bubble wand, Heather!

Unfortunately, it wasn’t as quick and easy as I hoped. I did take an interesting picture while fishing off the cliff, though. You can just barely see my shoes and that’s it.

Fishing from the cliff.I was fishing off-and-on for over an hour trying to catch that olive flounder, but I wasn’t having any luck. So I went out to the island and fished there. My second fish caught there was an olive flounder!

Just kidding! It's an olive flounder! Make up your mind, fishy!I quickly returned to the mainland and gave her the fish. She commented on how healthy and energetic it was.

Gala: Oh! Thank you! Look at how healthy and energetic it is!When she reached to give me my reward, my heart sank. Not only was it not her picture, but it wasn’t even furniture! It was a shirt! A pastel-stripe tee! Are you kidding me?! I wouldn’t be caught dead in that!

Gala: It's a pastel-stripe tee.…but she might. I was furious. I got my axe out and…well, let’s just say I have enough bacon to feed the whole town for the rest of the week. I don’t think anyone will be calling Gala healthy and energetic. In fact, they might even say she’s unhealthy…and delicious.

Get Well Soon, Aurora!

In Re-Tail today, Sprinkle was selling the shirt off her back! I hope she’s not running around naked now! 😛

Reese: Oh, the icy shirt? This item belongs to Sprinkle from here in Forest.Saharah was in town, and I paid her to redecorate my house. She installed this stripe wall and bath tile. I have no intentions of keeping my house this way.

A stripe wall and bath tile.Aurora was still sick today, so I bought her some medicine once again. Hopefully she’ll be waddling around like normal soon!

Aurora: ...I feel quite a bit better. Thank you for helping me, iceberg.

Lazy Sunday

Joan was selling turnips for 104 bells each this morning. I bought 3,200 of them this week.

Joan: The asking price is 104 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo?Kidd asked me for some furniture, and I gave him a customized classic sofa.

Kidd: Hmm. This seems kind of unusual... A classic sofa, right? Oh, that's why! It's a remake! He thanked me and gave me an exotic wardrobe in return.

Over by my cube sculpture, Rolf felt a fart coming on.

Rolf: Come on, let it be a big one...Actually he was just fishing off the cliff. And he didn’t catch anything but a breeze.

I got three StreetPass homes in the Happy Homes Showcase today, but two of the three were just one-room houses that didn’t have much to see. The other one (which belonged to Wesley from Athens) had four rooms, with the best one being this game room in the basement.
