Time Change Problems

The 3DS system does not automatically adjust the time when Daylight Saving Time begins or ends. And since I forgot to change the time before starting up my game today, it was already after noon (game-time), so I was unable to buy any turnips this week. I then put the game away and didn’t play it until much later tonight.

Rolf was over by the fountain, telling me he bought a salad bar on the spur of the moment. Haven’t we all done that?

Rolf: So on the spur of the moment the other day, I sorta bought a salad bar...He asked me to buy it from him for 2,400 bells and I reluctantly agreed.

I then found a lost item on the ground, just west of the event plaza.

A lost item on the ground. However, Rolf and Octavian were the only villagers awake…and they both said it wasn’t theirs. So there wasn’t really anything I could do. I’ll have to keep the book for myself!

The time change really threw me off today, at least in Animal Crossing. I’ll have to set the time before playing tomorrow.

But I have another problem that’s much more serious. Not only has the rubber part of my 3DS circle pad completely worn off, but now the round plastic part underneath is cracking and breaking apart! What are these made out of, candy?! If it completely breaks off, I’m not going to be able to play Animal Crossing: New Leaf (or any other game that requires the circle pad) at all!

I hate the idea of buying a new system…I should not have to replace a system that I’ve only had for a year and a half! From what I’ve heard, repairs are almost as expensive as buying a new system…and they don’t even guarantee they’ll save your data! So I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet.
