Eggplant Cow (Nintendo Zone DLC)

This morning, I tracked down Joan near the town tree. She was selling turnips for 105 bells each, which is a bit high. But I still bought my usual amount (4,100 turnips).

Joan: The asking price is 105 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo?New DLC

Later on, Pete met me outside my house with a letter from Nintendo. Now through August 29th, an eggplant cow is available at Nintendo Zone locations. Wait, a what?

From 8/16 to 8/29, the eggplant cow is available via Nintendo Zone!So I went up to the post office and got my item from Phyllis.

Phyllis: Oh, all right. Here's the eggplant cow.I didn’t know what to expect, but I headed over to the Emporium to take a look at the eggplant cow in my catalog. Apparently, it’s an eggplant with sticks stuck into it to resemble legs. How eggciting. So it’s a lot like the cucumber horse in that respect. It can not be ordered from the catalog.

Of course, the fireworks festival was also held tonight. I stopped behind Re-Tail to watch the fireworks as a balloon present flew by.

Fireworks and a balloon present.Agent S thought the fireworks were quite romantic. Wait, was she flirting with me?

Agent S: I'm hope SOMEONE in town is taking advantage of this utterly romantic fireworks show...At the event plaza, Isabelle gave me a flower bopper.

Isabelle: When you wear that flower bopper, you'll shine just as bright as the fireworks!Me watching fireworks while wearing a flower bopper.Back to Main Street

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Toadette from Mustakii was my most recent dream visitor.

And in the Happy Homes Showcase, I saw the house of someone I StreetPassed: Emily from Emily.  Emily from Emily has Emily Town designs in her house, as well as some patterns that have the letter E. I’m guessing they also stand for Emily (just a hunch). I think she must like her name.
