Getting Tom’s Pic

Tom is now officially a former resident of Forest, and I got his goodbye letter in the mail today. The good news is that he sent me his picture! I was afraid that he wouldn’t send it, since his stay in Forest was fairly short.

Tom's goodbye letter.I put it in my house, although some of my rooms are getting overrun with villager pictures. I may need to start putting some of them into storage one of these days.

Tom's picture in my house.Tom’s favorite quote is “There’s no use crying over spilled milk.” I guess that could be applied to him leaving town without giving me a chance to stop him. He’s a cool cat, and I’ll miss him, but that will let another animal move into town. And I do still have him in my GameCube town, at least.

Tom's favorite quote: There's no use crying over spilled milk. For the first time since Velma moved into town, she pinged me! I thought she was finally going to suggest a public works project for me. But no, she only wanted to visit my house. I told her no.

Velma: I wouldn't want to be accused of being a nosy goat, so forget I asked. There was a tent set up at the campsite, so of course I went in to see was visiting. I actually have two vacancies in Forest now. But the camper was Bunnie, and I wasn’t interested in her taking up one of those spots.

Bunnie: I know it's kinda sudden, but I've decided to set up camp here.Big Top asked me to catch a butterfly fish for him, so I went to the ocean to do some fishing. About six or seven fish later, I caught what I was looking for.

I caught a butterfly fish! As mayor, welcome to my pockets!I took it back to Big Top, and he thanked me by giving me a crossing shirt. It’s always disappointing to get a shirt as a reward, but I guess it’s better than stationery.

Big Top: Thanks again for your help, cool guy! Maybe I'll bug you for help again sometime!
