A Bug for Bob

I want to share this awesome drawing that Beth made recently. It features me and all of Forest’s animal villagers. You can click the pic to make it bigger. Thank you very much, Beth!

Yesterday, Aurora sent me a gift in the mail that she was confident I would like. It was… *drum roll* …a bug zapper! Wow. At least she didn’t say I was a bug zapper in a previous life like Bob did last week.

Julian approached me, wanting my pickle. He only offered me 240 bells for it, but I agreed to the dill.

Julian: I'm not sure why I want your pickle jar so much. Maybe I just like all this drama.

Then Bob asked me to catch a rainbow stag for him. It’s not an easy bug to come by, but I told him I’d find one for him. I figured that would give me an excuse to catch more bugs, and that helps me in two other ways: It earns me some extra money, and it helps add to my bug count (for the insect badge).

It took me quite a while, but I eventually caught the rainbow stag.

I caught a rainbow stag! Aren't you a colorful bug!

When I took it to Bob, he rewarded me with a polka-dot stool. I was kind of hoping for his picture, but it’s probably too soon to realistically expect that yet.

Bob: Sweet! I can't believe I'm seeing a rainbow stag in real life!
Look how happy he is! 🙂

On the bright side, I did earn over 250,000 bells from the bugs (and a few sharks) I caught. That’s over a quarter million bells–not bad for one night’s work.

Then today, Beth had perfect peaches as her premium item at Re-Tail, so she invited me over to sell. I only had 13 perfect peaches left, but they sold for 78,000 bells. Thanks, Beth!

Re-Tail premium item: Perfect peach.Beth also came over to Forest for a short visit. She picked up my toy hammer and started hitting me with it. But the game was laggy, so I was nowhere near her most of the times my head reacted with the shocked emotion. I wasn’t able to get a picture that showed it as well as I hoped, but this one shows my eyes reacting to a hit even though Beth was facing the opposite direction.

I react to a toy hammer hit, despite my abuser facing the opposite direction.Gulliver was down on the beach, so I used the megaphone to wake him up right away. He was talking about the Cossack dance and matryoshka dolls, so I knew he was headed to Russia. My seagull comrade will be sending me some of those dolls in the mail tomorrow.

Gulliver: AYE AYE, SIR!

My recent dream visitors have been Alison from Paradise and Mayounna from Amy Rose. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you’re enjoying your weekend! 🙂
