Unleashing Daisy

Yesterday, Daisy told me she was planning on moving out of town on September 30th (Friday). I decided to let her go. I like Daisy, but she’s been around for a while and it’s time to get some new blood in Forest.

Daisy: On the 30th of this month, I'm venturing out into the world. To celebrate the Cleveland Indians (baseball team) clinching their division (the AL Central), I made a new pattern tonight. It’s the block C logo that they use.

Me wearing the Cleveland Indians block C logo design.

Animal Crossing QR code for the Cleveland Indians block C logo.I have also added it to the QR Codes page and put it on my custom-design sign in town as well. However, it doesn’t show up very well at night.

The Indians' block C logo as my custom-design sign.I shook a tree near my house, and some furniture fell out (a bishop). But as I was about to pick it up, Bob walked up to the same tree…and he shook it too! He seemed disappointed that nothing fell out of the tree. I guess he didn’t notice my bishop just sitting there.

Bob looks disappointed that the tree didn't yield another item after he saw me shake one out of it.My recent dream visitors have been Marlon from Westcity and Emma from Tsuki. Thanks for stopping by!

Note: I have now converted all 800+ old New Leaf entries to WordPress and they are back on jvgs.net! If you’d like to revisit the early days of Forest, here is the entry from my very first day in Forest: Moving In. From there, you can either click the “previous” and “next” links at the bottom of the page, or just use the calendar in the sidebar to navigate to other days/months.

Seeing those early entries again was a nice trip down memory lane for me. That includes my early rivalry with Yuka, the time I got stuck wearing spacewoman pants and couldn’t remove them, getting ugly villagers like Tex and Katt, and the time when I thought the always-sleeping Cyrus was Reese’s son. I was quite surprised when he finally woke up and started yelling at me, telling me not to flirt with his wife! And of course there was the first Wi-Fi night too.

The old comments didn’t survive the move, but feel free to comment on any entry, old or new. What were your favorite memories from those early days?
