November Changes

The other night, Beth invited me over to Arrested. So many weeds had accumulated that Leif was there, talking in his sleep! I’ve seen that happen on Weeding Day before, but I didn’t realize it could happen other times too.

Leif: Zzzzzz... Weeds... Weeds everywhere...And now that Halloween is over, I cut down my dead trees and replanted some perfect peaches.

Chop, chop!

The arrival of November means that mushrooms will start appearing around town. Even though you can get them year-round near stumps, they can now appear near regular trees too. Here, I found an elegant mushroom next to my house: It’s worth 10,000 bells!

An elegant mushroom appears in Forest.

Some of those mushrooms will actually be mush furniture, such as this mush wall lamp. I don’t really care for the mush furniture, but I suppose it would grow on me if I gave it a chance.

Wahoo!I thought it was a mushroom, but it's a mush wall lamp!

I got a letter from the post office, informing me that I’ve earned 99,999 bells in interest on my bank account. Along with some other money I earned tonight, that helped my balance reach 84 million bells.

Your current balance is 84,000,000 bells.

My most recent dream visitor was João from Onett. Thanks for stopping by!

Note: There is a Nintendo Direct video coming in the morning, focused solely on Animal Crossing. The bad news is that it reportedly will only discuss the New Leaf update that’s on the way, and not the Animal Crossing app or any possible Switch game. But at least we should get a firm date for the New Leaf update.

I’ll be back later in the day (or night) tomorrow with my thoughts on the announcements. Hope to see you then!

    1. Selling fossils, gems, coffee beans, furniture, fish, bugs, and anything else I find. I also try to get the money rock most days, and I used to sell turnips too. When you play daily for 3.5 years, it adds up.
