Festivale 2017

Yesterday, Beth came over to pick up some extra pink roses that I had (and to see Forest again now that the snow has melted). We sat on the bench for a moment, and we were joined by our friend Camofrog. 😛

Beth and Jeff sitting on the bench, with Camofrog walking by.I also visited her town of Acorn, where we ate some leftover chocolate.

Beth and Jeff react after eating chocolate.Back in Forest, I bought one of Big Top’s unwanted items to help him out. Now he can afford to buy what he really wanted, on Switch!

Big Top: This worked out perfectly! Now I've got the bells to buy the thing I really want, on Switch!Today, Festivale was underway! Confetti pours from the sky, and villagers wear some silly headgear for the event. 😛

Rodeo: When I woke up this morning, the sky was pouring confetti! The villagers all seem to be in a great mood.

Lily: Today's the celebration of dance and music called Festivale! Don't be shy! Just dance and have fun!And over at the event plaza, I found Pavé the dancing peacock.

Pave: VIVA...FESTIVALE!He asked me to collect three green feathers for him. Feathers will be floating around town, but they can be hard to spot among the confetti. Over by my southwest park, I caught a rainbow feather! They can be exchanged immediately for a piece of furniture.

Yippeeeee! I got a rainbow feather! These are extremely rare!

But I had to catch a total of 19 feathers before I finally got three green ones. This event is very time-consuming. Pavé rewarded me with his Pavé clock.

Pave: Pave is generous and attractive., so Pave will give you this Pave clock.

He then wanted red feathers, and I only had two. So I went around town a few more times, and I eventually found a third red feather. Pavé gave me a Pavé table for them.

Next, he wanted white feathers…and I had none. So I saved and quit my game, and then restarted. This time he wanted blue feathers, which I had. After redeeming them, I repeated this process a couple more times to try to use up more of my feathers. In all, I acquired eight Pavé furniture items. I put them in storage with my ice furniture until my Re-Tail has a premium on furniture.

Bob was indoors during the time I played, but he said he would go out and dance later.

Bob: Things look pretty crazy outside. I'm gonna go get my dance on later, on my paws.

If you need a list of Pavé furniture or any more information, check out my Festivale Guide.

Luna told me my most recent dream visitor was Wayland from Waypoint. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you all enjoyed your Festivale!

Welcome Back, Green Grass!

Just a short update today, mainly to say that the snow is now gone! Grass is green once again, and I changed my frosty ice brick path back to green bricks. Winter is nice in its own way, but I’m glad it’s gone (at least in the world of Animal Crossing).

Green grass, green trees, and my green brick path.On a sadder note, I said goodbye to my last snowmam. I caught (and redeemed) the last of the snowflakes last night.

Snowman, in the green grass of spring: I know, I know... You're thinking, "Wow! That is one resistant snowlady!"I noticed Franklin’s RV at the drive-in campground today, so I went inside to take a look. He has some harvest furniture and some food/cooking related items.

Franklin: I like the look of this place! Not a fork in site!I took a seat to enjoy some pancakes. Don’t worry, I didn’t eat any turkey bacon. 😉

My recent dream visitors have all had “M” names: Maddy from Dogwood, Madison from LeafLock, and Marta from Another. Thanks for visiting, and enjoy your weekend!

92 Million Bells

The other night, Vivian informed me that Saharah was in town. Except she didn’t spell her name right; she called her Sahara!

Vivian: If you've been wanting to jazz up your place a little, you should visit Sahara while she's in town.On Monday, I spotted a new sign on the bulletin board. It serves as a reminder that Festivale is coming up next Monday, February 27th!

~Notice~ This year's Festivale is next week on February 27th! It's almost here, so just wait a little longer and then get ready to celebrate in style! If you need to know more about how the event works, check out my Festivale Guide.

Yesterday, I found my old friend Puck camping in an igloo at the campsite. My town is already full, so I couldn’t ask him to move in, but it’s good to see him again.

Puck, camping in an igloo: Hey there! I'm here in town camping! I picked Forest randomly off a map.Today, Aurora sent me a letter in the mail. She sent me a 1-up cap, and she said it took her over five hours to pick this out! Five hours?! Get a life. 😉

Me wearing a 1-up cap in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.Over near the town tree, I built a perfect snowmam. This is the last one I’ll need to build, since the snow will be gone as of Saturday morning.

Snowmam: Oh my! This perfect balance of head and body...After selling some gems to villagers and fossils to Reese, I deposited some money into my bank account. It was enough to make my balance reach 92 million bells.

Your current balance is 92,000,000 bells.Once I get a bit closer to 100 million, I’m probably going to start doing some island fishing and bug-catching. It’s been so long since I’ve earned a new badge.

Back in town, Rodeo sniffed out the hourglass in my pockets! He must have a really good sense of smell! I bet it’s taken lots of time to perfect it.

Rodeo: I smell an hourglass. It's yours, isn't it?In return, he gave me a four-ball tee. And I thought cattle only had four stomachs

When I ran into Molly, she was quite attracted to me. I’m guessing this is related to me wearing a lucky item or something, but I didn’t stop at Katrina’s to confirm it. I’ll just enjoy Molly’s affection while I have it. 😛

Molly: Why am I suddenly so drawn to you?

My recent dream visitors have been Totoro from Forest, Spencer from Duskwood, Maxine from Euphoria, Inuyashe from Uke Land, Molly from Moshland, Scorpius from Scorpio, and Paige from Oakwood. Thanks for stopping by!

Update: I just noticed that this is the 1,002nd entry in this blog. But the first two posts were basically previews, just looking forward to the game. So this is the 1,000th entry since I got the game. Thank you to everyone who continues to read this blog! 🙂
