Dreaming of Pallet

Tonight, I made a dream visit to Weegee’s town of Pallet (dream address 4B00-0033-32C5). Actually Kiefer is the mayor’s name, but Weegee (another town resident) is the one who let me know about the town. As I arrived, I saw that a player named Wally was wearing an ice cream sundae on his head, and a standee welcomed me to town.

Using a face-cutout standee that says "Life's a party" and "Welcome to Pallet."

Wally has some really nicely decorated rooms in his house. Looks like a great place to live!

I then spotted a sign nearby that warned me not to feed the otters! Sorry, Pascal. 😛

A sign showing Pascal says "Do not feed the otters."

Kiefer’s home is a haunted house, with several different spooky rooms. It’s great.

The town is very colorful, with lots of flowers and a variety of path patterns. There are rainbow bricks, Tetris-like blocks, puzzle pieces, and even some Lego paths. I think those would be painful to walk on with bare feet, though! Ouch!

Another cool feature of Pallet is the town tune: It’s the chocobo song from Final Fantasy! I love it!

There are also helpful sign boards around town that point you to places of interest, like town hall, Re-Tail, etc.

Anyway, I made a brief visit to Beth’s town Acorn the other night. I made sure to beat up Bunnie while I was there.

Hitting Bunnie with a net.

Back in Forest, the campsite has been busy lately. Doc the bunny camped there yesterday, and then Zucker the octopus was there today.

Zucker: Hey! Are you from this town? I'm here camping!Lily asked me for some perfect fruit, and I gave her a perfect peach. So she rewarded me with a wooden box. How exciting. I was very crateful grateful.

Lily: Here. What do you think about my wooden box? I hope you like it!

My recent dream visitors have been Coraline from LA, Cat from CatVille, Elly from Esteria, Meldoy from Chilvill, and Erika from Hanamura.

One last note for today: I have now joined Instagram! So I’ll be posting some of my best Animal Crossing pics there, and other Nintendo stuff as well. Follow jvgsjeff if you’re interested.

Rodeo To Go

The other night, after I had been on a tree-shaking session, Agent S barged into my house. She said she got lonely for my face.

Agent S: Surprised to see me, huh? I just got, like, totally lonely for your face, no thanks!
THIS face?

After depositing some money into the bank last night, my balance reached 96 million bells. My goal of 100 million bells is within reach!

Your current balance is 96,000,000 bells.

Tonight, Rodeo let me know that he was planning on moving out of Forest on May 13th. I did not try to stop him; it’s time for some fresh blood in town. And that’s no bull.

Rodeo: Oh, mayor! Don't freak out, but I'm planning on moving away on the 13th of this month.Despite the rain and the late hour, Main Street was pretty crowded. Kabuki, Dizzy, Peck, and Molly were there, along with me and Digby.

My recent dream visitors have been Alec from Minic, Andi from Kiwii, Vanilla from Celestro, and Gabby from Platoria. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good weekend!

Town Anniversary & Sapling Clock

As I started up the game today, Isabelle met me outside of my house. Today is my town anniversary, so Isabelle had something planned for the occasion.

Isabelle: I've been trying to figure out the best way to express my gratitude for all your service to Forest...So she said she got all the town residents to gather at the town tree. But…wait a minute. Molly, Vivian, and one of the Nooklings? That’s all who showed up?

Isabelle: Ahem... Mayor Jeff, fellow citizens... Thank you all for gathering here today! She thanked me for my four years of service as mayor, and she reminisced about that first day.

Isabelle: I still remember it like it was yesterday...meeting at the train station, planting the seedling...Isabelle: I guess time flies when you're diligently navigating bureaucratic red tape...a.k.a. having fun! Then she told everyone to bring IT out.

Isabelle: All right, everyone. It's time to bring IT out. You know what I'm talking about...
Uh-oh.

Fortunately, she was just talking about party poppers. 😛

Everyone fires party poppers at the town anniversary party. She gave me a special ceremonial gift and then the ceremony came to a close.

I still can't believe it--4 years since your inauguration... What a ride it's been! The gift was a sapling clock, so I took it home and put it in my house. I’ve updated my dream address, so you can see the tree “in person” if you go to dream address 5D00-000F-7611.

The sapling clock that I received from Isabelle on my town anniversary. The sapling clock, and the town anniversary ceremony itself, are new additions that were included with last November’s Welcome Amiibo update. If you haven’t had your ceremony yet, be sure to play on your town’s anniversary date!

As for other things going on in town lately, Lily gave me three cheers for our friendship. 😛

Lily: Three cheers for our friendship, Jeff! On my pad! On my pad! On my pad!I was snooping in Vivian’s house, and she warned me not to look in her Gracie chest. So that made me curious, and of course, I just had to look.

Vivian: In a lake! Get out of there! That's where I keep my... satellite?
Don’t mind my eye. I, uh, walked into a doorknob.

Vivian then realized the satellite isn’t what she thought was in the chest, so she let me have it.

I got a satellite!

My recent dream visitors have been Jess from Yanwath, Abigail from Meowburg, Shamima from Candy, and Lee Lee from Candy. Thanks for stopping by!
