Sunday Night Fireworks

I did not compete in yesterday’s Bug-Off competition, but I saw on the bulletin board that Big Top was the big winner. Aurora got 2nd place and Boots finished in third.

Today, I made a sign for Sunday Night Forest. Well, it wasn’t from scratch. I took an old FNF (Friday Night Forest) design and just edited it. Even though I made a SNF pattern before, I apparently didn’t save that one.

My custom design sign for Sunday Night Fireworks, reading SNF 8-20-17.

At 8:00, I opened my gate as the fireworks festival was underway. I went over to speak to Isabelle at the event plaza, and she gave me a flower bopper.

Jeff wears a flower bopper and stands next to Isabelle in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.I decided to buy five of Crazy Redd’s cookies from his stand.

Redd: Every cookie has a prize ticket and only costs 500 bells! Would ya like to buy one? I bet ya would! So I gobbled down the cookies to find the tickets inside. Three of them were dud prizes (non-winners) and two were flash prizes. I redeemed the two winners for two lovely phones, while Redd gave me three sparklers for the duds.

When I spoke to Isabelle again, she gave me a fountain firework.

Isabelle: Take this fountain firework, and enjoy the fireworks show to its fullest!I walked around town to speak with some of my villagers. Vivian informed me that Agent S was planning on moving out of town!

Vivian: Did you know that Agent S is thinking about leaving town?So I went to have a little chat with the superhero squirrel, but she made no mention of moving. I’ll have to keep trying to change her mind in the coming days. But she did offer to buy my plesio neck for 4,500 bells.

Agent S: Oh, 4,500 bells? Yay! That's the perfect price. For reals, sell your plesio neck to me!By 8:50, I still had no visitors, so I decided to give up and close the gate.

My recent dream visitors have been Mayounna from Amy Rose and Connie from World. Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Not to sound creepy, but the truth is I only just started playing New Leaf last October and would have gladly joined you. My friends list is very short and they all were “done” with NL before I could start. Also your native fruit is the one fruit I haven’t been able to acquire myself in any way.

  2. I hate to see New Leaf not being played but like Mike, I think everyone just wants a Switch game. It kind of sucks and I wish I joined

  3. I would have visited (I was off work that night) but I’m not on the list. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (It’s all good. I had to be up ridiculously early the next morning anyway. Plus it was Alice’s birthday and I was rockin’ out with my favorite koala.)

  4. I would have been there, but I simply have just lost interest in New Leaf. A lot of the problems I had with the game weren’t fixed in the Welcome Amiibo update, so I have shifted over to playing Population Growing out of any of them at the moment.

I think that interest in New Leaf is just dropping because everyone just wants a new game on the Switch. I doubt nobody wants to join your games, you have people still willing to join, I just bet everyone is tired of New Leaf now… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    1. New Leaf is getting repetitive and boring – I do honestly agree. I don’t find anything fun on there anymore – and I’ve drifted into speedrunning other games, such as City Folk and Wild World, they are very good speedrunning games, I must admit.

I tried speedrunning on New Leaf, but that’s no fun as there is far too many bugs and content. City Folk has a lot of bugs, but that is only for online – and no one plays online on there anymore. I definitely agree with you, Mike.
