Tammy’s Last Day

This morning, Reese was buying turnips for 437 bells each! So I sold my 1,200 turnips for a cool 524,400 bells.

Reese: Well then...I could probably part with 524,400 bells for all of it, if that sounds OK with you?Unfortunately, the prices dropped to 138 bells in the afternoon. Otherwise, I would have posted on Twitter and Tumblr to let people come and sell their turnips. Anyway, I put my money into the bank and my balance topped 8 million bells for the first time.

When I returned home to check my mail, I had a letter from Gulliver and a letter from the snowboy. I got two gifts, one hot and one cold: A hula doll and a snowman wardrobe.

A hula doll and snowman wardrobe.I then went to say goodbye to Tammy. Today is her last day in town.

Tammy: Things have been hectic, but right now I feel totally wild and free! I'm leaving with a smile! GameCub!My friend Tiffiny was looking to get signatures for a petition, and of course she needed to come and get Tammy as well. So I opened my gate for her, and Tom came over for a short visit too.

Jeff: Hi T & T.After Tiffiny claimed Tammy, the yellow bear cub confirmed that she is headed to Tiffiny’s town Auctus.

Tammy: I'm moving to this town called Auctus. After Tiffiny was done collecting signatures, I ended the session. I then made a quick delivery, taking two queens to Ash. They were the last pieces she needed for her chess set. I couldn’t help but notice her brick paths look so much better than mine.

Ash's cool brick paths.I turned the game off for a while, but I later returned. Today’s fake rock had given me a gold nugget, but Skye wasted no time in asking for it. She offered her red warm-up suit for it. That’s a ridiculously one-sided trade, but I accepted it because I want to make her happy so I can get her picture at some point.

Skye: So would you consider trading your gold nugget for my red warm-up suit?Up in the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Racquel from Catville was my most recent dream visitor. In T&T Emporium (Timmy & Tommy, not Tiffiny & Tom), I bought some medicine for Big Top, who was still sick again today.

Big Top flips as he takes medicine.I spoke with Teddy, and he was boasting about his “jaw-dropping physique.”

Teddy: I think of clothes as the icing on the scrumptious cake this is my jaw-dropping physique! Haha!I tried making a snowboy, but failed this time. A couple weeks ago, I was doing so well with them, but I seem to have lost my touch. Anyway, that pretty much ended my night in Forest. But I’m going to talk a little bit about villagers.

With Tammy leaving, I don’t really have any villagers left that I dislike. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to keep my current villagers forever. It’s still fun to get new villagers in town, to keep things from getting too stale. And this is one reason I really don’t want people going to any trouble in getting villagers for me. I’m completely happy with letting random animals come and go.

If I get an occasional animal I don’t like, so be it. It can still be fun to pitfall them and hammer them if they need a good beatdown. I think a town full of “dreamies” would get boring after a while. Not to mention it would be a pain to always have to keep them from moving out. So I’m looking forward to getting another villager when the time comes. As long as it’s not Jambette. 😛

Hawaii Day

Crazy Redd sent me the great statue in the mail today, and it turned out to be real! I donated it to the museum. The description said the statue depicts the man who unified the Hawaiian Islands.

This statue depicts the man who unified the Hawaiian Islands. The original was nearly lost at sea.Tom and I visited each other’s towns for bingo numbers, and I got a double ding in Tomville.

Snowman: DOUBLE DING!A couple of his friends also joined in, and we did the tree stump glitch where we all occupied the same spot.

Tom41: Four people at once.It works much like the chair glitch in ACCF, just outdoors with holes blocking everyone instead of chairs. But this is much easier, because you don’t even need good timing. Anyone can sit on the stump and then fall into the spot regardless of how long the others have already occupied that spot.

When I returned to Forest, I visited Big Top, who was still sick today. I wanted him to feel better, so I gave him some medicine showed him how to play Dr. Mario.

Big Top: Take that, virus! That medicine just socked you right in the gut!I finally built a perfect snowboy today, after either failing or building other snowpeople for the past week.

Snowboy: This color! This shine! This size! I'm the definition of perfection!Gulliver was down on the beach today, and I kept speaking with him until he woke up. His clues were quite easy this time; he’s headed off to Hawaii! What a coincidence to have two Hawaii references in the same day.

Gulliver: I want to stand on the beach and hula in a grass skirt too!
No offense Gulliver, but you’d make an ugly hula dancer.

Later on, Allie from the town of Destiny needed #30 for her bingo card, so I let her come over to get it from my snowman.

Allie talks to my snowman. After that, I ended my game for the night. See you all next time!

Visiting Hazakura

Crazy Redd was in town today, and three of his four works of art were already in my museum. So I bought the only one I still needed, the great statue.

Redd: I see! Ya seem to be really close to that great statue, yeah?I went to Tom’s town for bingo numbers. I was also doing a bunch of emotions with his friend Jules.

Dancing with Jules.Tom didn’t keep his gate open long–usually when I’m getting on, he’s going to bed. So I returned to Forest and updated my dream town. Luna told me that Kati from CatVille was my most recent dream visitor. I figured that I was having a bad luck day when I got a face full of sand. Yuck.

Falling in the sand.Big Top was sick today, so I bought some medicine for him.

Big Top: Huh?! You brought this medicine for me?At 9:00, I went to my friend Ash’s town Hazakura. This was my first time seeing her in New Leaf, but she’s been on my ACCF and Mario Kart Wii rosters for years. She has a lot of flowers in town; she also had the northern lights in her town tonight.

Enjoying the northern lights with Ash.She also has a geyser, which is a project I really want for Forest.

A geyser and the northern lights. The area around her totem pole looked amazing. She has bushes surrounding it, and a bunch of blue pansies inside the enclosure.

Ash's totem pole.Gaston is one of her villagers, and he told me that everyone in town was nervous about having me there!

Gaston: Everyone in town is kinda nervous about having you around here... They just pretend they're not!Gaston: Then again, I can relate. I mean, just take a good look at my face! This is the face of FEAR! GAHAHA!Ash also has Bob as a villager. He wanted me to call him Exquisite Bob.

Bob: Even so, it would pretty cool if people started calling me Exquisite Bob, pthhpth.Ash’s friend Hades also came over to visit.

Hades from Xibalba has just arrived in Hazakura.I was checking out Ash’s houses, and I found her chess room. She’s still missing the queen (which I later ordered for her from my catalog), but she’s really happy that the chessboard rug matches up with the chess pieces. In City Folk, the rug had a border around it and the squares didn’t line up.

The chess set.I sat at Ash’s town tree to take a look at her town history.

The History of Hazakura: June 13th, 2013 -- Mayor Ash took office.I then glitched onto the tree, and then onto Re-Tail. I asked Ash to save the game so she could kill me. 😀 I later glitched into the river, and Hades left after a little while. When I saw Gaston again, he got a little rude with me!

Gaston: That's why I'm gonna have to ask that you don't just leave trash living around anywhere.Around 10:00, I returned home and ended my night in New Leaf. It was nice seeing Ash again, and I hope we can play again soon.
