NEW LEAF BLOG

Jeff's Tomodachi Life Blog

This blog describes my crazy adventures in Tomodachi Life, a bizarre simulation game for Nintendo 3DS. It is available now. Check out my Tomodachi Life review, scan QR codes, or buy Tomodachi Life at Amazon.

Entry 11: Babysitting

I had an item called a hypnotizer, so I tried using it on Elly. By sliding the stylus or moving the system, I had to make the coin swing to hynotize her!

Once she fell asleep, I had a few options of what to see. I chose "the future," and I get to see how Elly will look in 50 years!

Over at Zoidberg and Miss Piggy's house, Xavier wouldn't stop crying.

There was an option to babysit Xavier, so I tried it out. I was told to pat or tickle the baby to make it happy. So I did that for a bit, but there was also an option to play peekaboo. Peeka...

Boo!

The cute baby sound effects almost made little Xavier seem human. But after checking back with Miss Piggy a few minutes later, she was fast asleep. I looked inside her dream, and she was chasing a bowl of meatballs around a table. Does this dream relate to her newfound need to chase Xavier around? Or is she just hungry?

But that dream startled her awake. Hey, where's Papa Zoidberg?

In other news, Alien did some skydiving...from up in space perhaps?

He may be trying to pass himself off as a normal guy living in an apartment complex, but his quote about the rest of us being "mortals" was pretty incriminating.

I bought some hard-boiled eggs for Tobias; I thought he would love them! But sadly, he didn't like them at all.

So I gave him a mohawk wig and that cheered him up (and leveled him up). He even did his impression of Steve Holt.

In the rap battle today, Elly defeated Velma.

And when I checked on Zoidberg and Miss Piggy, I saw that Xavier has grown a full head of hair. But more importantly, he was taking his first steps in the backyard!

I chose to babysit him again, and this time I could spin him around and around and around!

I was told if I do it too fast, it might make him dizzy. But I tried...believe me, I tried. And he never got dizzy or anything. I was hoping he would puke on me, but I left his house dry and disappointed.

On the news tonight, I found out that Gaston is a champion arm wrestler!

A couple of new Miis moved into Wolf Bobs Island today, including Popeye...

...and Conan O'Brien.

I gave Tobias a sewing machine, and he started working on a new outfit.

I wondered what kind of crazy outfit he would make. A pirate's outfit? Or maybe something that says "Tobias likes leather?" But no. He just made a basic cardigan!

I wonder how I can talk you out of ever making that face again.

Meanwhile, Zoidberg had a crab on him. I picked it off for him...but perhaps I should have asked if it was one of his friends first. Oops.

And after leveling up Darth Vader, I chose to give him a new catchphrase: "I am your father."

But he was upset because he had a fight with Conan. Darth feels it's his job to keep his friends from being dumb.

I told him to try making up with Conan, but he said I needed to calm him down first. The only thing I had that would work is a bath set; so he took a bath. Behold, it's Darth Bather.

After he got out, I got to see him in just a towel. I wasn't prepared for that sight.

He then went to make up with Conan, but Conan was still angry. So Darth got depressed all over again. That's what happens when you live on the dark side.

I saw a heart icon coming from Jeff's apartment, so I quickly went to see what it was all about. Jeff was interested in Maeby, but I told him they weren't a good match. So just like Darth Vader, Jeff was sad now too. But I don't want to end this blog entry on a down note, so I'll give you QR codes for two more Miis, Tobias and Miss Piggy. Enjoy!

See you next time!
