Jeff's Tomodachi Life Blog

This blog describes my crazy adventures in Tomodachi Life, a bizarre simulation game for Nintendo 3DS. It is available now. Check out my Tomodachi Life review, scan QR codes, or buy Tomodachi Life at Amazon.

Entry 20: Barbecue

Velma told me she was romantically interested in two different guys: George Bluth and Yukon Cornelius! What a dilemma, Velma!

She asked who she should pursue a relationship with, and I told her to try going after Yukon. She asked where she should tell him about her feelings, and I suggested the park. So she went there, but there was a problem: Yukon never showed up! Zoinks!

That certainly ruined her day. But Buster was in a much better mood. In fact, he asked if I wanted to see a funny face of his. I said yes, and this is what he came up with:

Zoidberg was asleep and dreaming of meeting me 50 years in the future. His future face was actually quite frightening.

I recently wrote a song for my Inigo Montoya Mii. If you haven't seen the movie The Princess Bride, you probably won't understand the references. But here's the song regardless. I made it a metal song since that's the only song that I felt could accurately reflect Inigo's anger. (open on Youtube)

I gave Popeye some yogurt and he didn't seem to care for it.

He fell to the ground; it was his "worst" food...and yet he likes squid-ink spaghetti. Go figure.

Believe it or not, I attended my first barbecue yesterday. It takes place in the park each day between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. Four islanders will be cooking meat (or veggie dogs) around the grill.

From time to time, a puff of smoke comes up. You're encouraged to blow into the 3DS microphone to blow the smoke away.

If you don't blow it away, it will get into the face of one of the islanders.

The soot will also slowly accumulate on the Miis. If you leave the game on the barbecue event long enough, eventually all four of your islanders will turn black.
At the afternoon market today, The Count was selling this woolly sweater (in the middle of summer). He was trying to hawk it to anyone who would walk by. I liked his sales pitch, so I bought it (just to add it to my catalog/collection).

If you haven't seen Jenn's site Crystal Dreams, I recommend you give it a look. It includes a page of QR codes that are really good. I added three of her Miis to my Wolf Bobs Island today: Mario, Luigi, and Peach. Here's a look at Mario and Peach:

That helped my island population top 30 Miis.

I gave Inigo some milk, and he loved it!

I'm surprised he didn't end up with a milk mustache milk in his mustache! It was his super all-time favorite food, so he blasted off into space.

I'll be back with more craziness next time! Please come again!
