This blog describes my crazy adventures in Tomodachi Life, a bizarre simulation game for Nintendo 3DS. It is available now. Check out my Tomodachi Life review, scan QR codes, or buy Tomodachi Life at Amazon.

Entry 39: The First Divorce

While visiting the Mii Homes section of the island, I noticed something surprising. One of the houses was missing!

Did a tornado come by and sweep away Velma and Annyong's house? No. Apparently they got divorced...without asking me first! How dare them! I went to go speak to both of them, but neither of them even mentioned the divorce! I was expecting a sad montage of memories, but there was nothing. Nothing at all.

When I spoke with Xavier, he wanted to set up Velma and The Count! So they went out on a date.

They hit it off, and they're now sweethearts. Velma sure doesn't waste any time!

When I visited TZ, she randomly commented about Zoidberg's hair. Uh, he doesn't have any hair. :/

On the Mii News, I saw a new product called a Tobias Treadmill. You can run in place on your very own Tobias! Just be careful not to miss a step, or the treadmill may emit a loud, high-pitched scream and then begin sobbing.

Buster was in a bad mood after a fight with Elly. But before he would try to make up with her, he needed to be cheered up. So I tried giving Buster some calamari, but he thought it was the worst. It nearly killed the monster!

But with that, I have now found all four of Buster's special foods: Red chili pepper is his super all-time favorite, onion gratin soup is his all-time favorite, calamari is his worst, and melon is his worst ever. He's the first Mii that I've accomplished this feat with.

Since food wasn't cheering him up, I gave him a music box to listen to.

That calmed him down, and he went to apologize to Elly in what looked like a superhero/monster movie. But the movie ended well, with Elly being sorry too, and everything was happy again. Aww.

After TZ's "compliment" about Zoidberg's hair, I found him wearing a hat now. He returned the favor with a sarcastic compliment of his own. He said the hole in TZ's sock was kinda trendy.

Meanwhile, Peach was looking for her brain.

Actually, she was just making a funny face.

By request, I have added a QR code for my Snoopy Mii. It has also been added to the QR Codes page.

As of October 16th, a new SpotPass DLC item is available. It's a pumpkin suit. It doesn't look all that flattering however, at least not on Kevin Love.

It costs $100 and it comes in three color variations. But the color only affects the stripes on the leggings, not the main pumpkin itself.

Jeff got a letter to meet someone on the roof, so I told him to go check it out. Mario was up there, in disguise...did he escape from prison? He told Jeff to keep his secret family recipe safe. What he doesn't know is that I'm going to use it to make lotsa spaghetti!

I don't think I had ever given a mobile to any of my Miis before, so I decided to give one to Popeye. When you blow into the 3DS microphone, the parts of the mobile move around the room. You can see Alien in one basket, and George Sr. in another--apparently trying to use a Super Scope as a telescope.

I'll see you all next time!
