This blog describes my crazy adventures in Tomodachi Life, a bizarre simulation game for Nintendo 3DS. It is available now. Check out my Tomodachi Life review, scan QR codes, or buy Tomodachi Life at Amazon.

Entry 4: Tomodachi Quest

The Mii News will often have some humorous stories. Last night's news told about an outbreak of sardines! Make sure to get vac-sardine-ated!

I've added a few new Miis since last time: The Count from Sesame Street, Breezy (breezycrossing on Tumblr), Gaston (a human version of the mustached-bunny from Animal Crossing), and Yukon Cornelius (from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer).

Anyway, Tobias told me he had feelings for Miss Piggy! He must not know that Zoidberg already has his tentacles around her. But who am I to stop Tobias in his quest for love? I grabbed some popcorn and told him to go for it! He asked for advice, and I told him to act desperate (haha). So...he did.

Tobias was still on all-fours as Miss Piggy politely turned him down.

Rejected, he returned to his apartment with a raincloud over his head. I can only imagine he went to the bathtub to sob afterwards.

I played a trivia game with Alien, where I had to answer questions like "Mr. Bean and Bobby Hill are the same personality, true or false?" I got all three questions right this time, and I got to pick a prize. I could choose a small, medium, or large box. I picked the medium one and I won a geode. But I felt so stupid when I saw the big box had an NES in it! I don't know if it can play games or not, but I'm dying to find out!

Gaston asked me for a new hat, so I gave him a yellow hat with ears. It's quite fitting since he's normally a yellow rabbit in Animal Crossing. However, this Gaston didn't care for it.

Yukon was asleep, so I looked into his dream. He had the same hair dream that Mr. Bean had the other night. He whips his hair back and forth, he whips his hair back and forth...

I went to the beach tonight, and Darth Vader appeared to be burying something in the sand! Whatever it was must've been small, because he didn't need to use much Force.

I leveled up Bobby Hill, and I chose to give him a new song. He's singing in a musical!

After playing a card game with Yukon, I checked in on Breezy. She was sleeping, so I took a look at her dream. A fish was swimming by some seaweed that was swaying back and forth. And then Breezy came into the picture, also swaying like the seaweed.

Tonight's newscast featured a story about the rising population of stray Counts! But in this picture, I only see ONE, TWO, AH AH AH!

At the amusement park, there was an event called Tomodachi Quest. It's actually a mini-game that plays like a pixelated, old-school RPG. I quickly made short work of some soft-serve ice cream, and then Darth Vader dealt the final blow to the chicken pot pie.

Unfortunately, I was defeated by a pendant, which was the boss. One interesting note about Tomodachi Quest is that when a character runs out of hit points (HP), it says the character "is pretending to be dead."

That's all I have for now, but I'll be back with more over the weekend. Hope to see you then!
