NEW LEAF BLOG

Jeff's Tomodachi Life Blog

This blog describes my crazy adventures in Tomodachi Life, a bizarre simulation game for Nintendo 3DS. It is available now. Check out my Tomodachi Life review, scan QR codes, or buy Tomodachi Life at Amazon.

Entry 6: Judgment Bay

I gave Elly a swing and she hung it from her ceiling. I'm sure the landlord won't mind. Hey, who owns this apartment building anyway? I pushed her, but she kept wanting to go higher and higher.

The Count had a dream where he was walking past a mirror and saw his reflection walking the other way. Actually, he shouldn't even have a reflection, should he?

When he walked past again, the Count in the mirror fell down and then he woke up.

A new feature opened up, called Judgment Bay. There will be two fields you can write or draw in. (You can also choose to have three or four fields instead). When you press the "Judgment!" button, all of your Miis are forced to choose one or the other. I asked them to choose between Zelda and Mario, and they went with Zelda by a wide margin.

The Miis' choices seem to be random, so it's not the most useful feature. But it could be fun to play around with.

I checked the Mii News and saw that Jeff had discovered the world's smallest Mii! It was a tiny Breezy, doing sit-ups!

She's just an eighth of an inch tall, according to the news anchor.

As I glanced through the apartments today, I finally witnessed Jeff playing with his Wii U.

After I leveled him up, I also gave him a 3DS XL.

Darth Vader asked me for some new clothes today, and the request caught me by surprise. When you're Darth Vader, you can't exactly go around in a T-shirt and jeans. Your clothing options are extremely limited. Still, I looked at the clothing shop for something appropriate. Ultimately, I ended up buying him a black ninja suit.

I also saw this outfit and I thought it would look funny on Tobias (cutoffs!). But he's still rocking his punk-rocker outfit for now, so it will have to wait a while.

The hat shop has some unusual hats, but perhaps are none are stranger than this broccoli hat:

Buy that and you'll be the stalk of the town.

Alien told me he got a strange letter telling him to meet someone up on the roof. He asked if he should go up to see what it's all about. I told him he definitely should! So up he went...

The Count was up there, and he walked over to Alien. He got up real close in Alien's face and issued this frightful warning before walking away:

Not even if it's Count Chocula?

Alien leveled up and I chose to teach him a song. Which genre to pick? For an alien? Definitely techno!

I attended another rap battle tonight, and it was Mr. Bean up against Miss Piggy. Here's a video of the battle: (open on Youtube)

That's all for now, but I'll be back with more soon! See you next time!
