As you may have seen in the last entry, Nate just moved in two weeks ago…but he’s already gone. I got his goodbye letter in the mail today.<\/p>\n

It didn’t take me long to find his replacement. Next to Maple’s house, I found a new house, and a new villager: Lucky the dog!<\/p>\n

\"Lucky:<\/p>\n

He’s pretty cool from what I can see of him (which isn’t much). \ud83d\ude00 I suppose he’s a good animal to have around with Halloween season approaching, since he looks like a mummy.<\/p>\n

I was feeling pretty lucky<\/em> myself, when I dug up the daily glowing spot and got 10,000 bells instead of the usual 1,000.<\/p>\n

Baabara told me she had been enjoying the peace and quiet of the mornings, until I came along to ruin them for her. Wow, Baabara being rude? What a surprise.<\/p>\n

\"Baabara:<\/p>\n

Just a few moments later, I was on the cliff with Ursala. She was looking at a bug down below, and Baabara was also down there looking. Knowing them, they’re probably trying to think up some good insults for the bug.<\/p>\n

\"Ursala<\/p>\n

And at this time of year, I always try to do some early September Fishing<\/a>. With no sea bass or jellyfish in the ocean, it’s easy to rack up lots of valuable fish. As long as you avoid the acre with the mouth of the river, the only fish you’ll catch in the ocean are red snappers (3,000 bells each) and barred knifejaws (5,000 bells each). If it’s raining, you may also find some coelacanths (15,000 bells).<\/p>\n

\"Jeff<\/p>\n

I dropped everything and decided to fill up my pockets twice with fish. On my first run, I caught eight barred knifejaws and seven red snappers. That earned me 61,000 bells.<\/p>\n

\"My<\/p>\n

My second run netted me the exact same result. So in total, I earned 122,000 bells in about 16 minutes of fishing. Not bad!<\/p>\n
