First, she said they were pretty&#8230;but then she changed it to &#8220;intense.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-belle-eyes1-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Belle: Jeff, you've got really pretty eyes! No, that's not the right word... What is it? Intense? Wow, I <em>think <\/em>that&#8217;s rude. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-belle-eyes2-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Belle: Yeah! They're not the eyes of someone who does a lot of thinking.\" class=\"wp-image-6030\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-belle-eyes2-sm.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-belle-eyes2-sm-300x231.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>That made me <em>wrestle <\/em>with the idea of tipping her over, but then she&#8217;d be crying over spilled milk. (Just kidding. Be nice to cows.) \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Early September is the best time of year for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/guides\/ac\/september-fishing.htm\">ocean fishing<\/a>, since there are no sea bass (or jellyfish) in sight. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/2024\/09\/04\/million-bell-night\/\">Last year<\/a>, I waited for a rainy day and then fished for two hours to make a million bells in one night. I didn&#8217;t want to do that this time, though. Instead, I played (and fished) a little bit each day. I&#8217;ll recap how it all went later in the entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last Thursday, Static informed me that I was looking as awful as ever. (My villagers all seem to love me so much.) He gave me a misty shirt to wear instead, and I decided to put it on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I found Gulliver down on the beach, and he gave me a gift and said I wouldn&#8217;t find anything like it anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-gulliver-another-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Gulliver: You won't find another like it anywhere! At least, I don't think you will...\" class=\"wp-image-6031\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-gulliver-another-sm.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-gulliver-another-sm-300x231.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>But it was a matryoshka, so I <em>did <\/em>find something like it&#8230;right inside the first one! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I was speaking with Kody near the wishing well, Tom came up and his face passed right through Kody&#8217;s umbrella. \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-tom-thru-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Tom's head passed through Kody's umbrella as Kody says: I'll train even harder, so that I bring more sunshine for us.\" class=\"wp-image-6032\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-tom-thru-sm.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-tom-thru-sm-300x231.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>On Sunday (September 7th), I received a goodbye letter in the mail from Mitzi. I&#8217;m sad to see her go, but I&#8217;m used to this happening. The revolving door of Animal Crossing on GameCube goes round and round.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-mitzi-out2025-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Jeff, FYI: I recently decided to move for reasons I prefer not to go into. I can't tell you where I'm going, but I will say this: I won't forget you! Best of luck--to both of us. Even though I didn&#8217;t specifically seek it out, I didn&#8217;t notice anything out of the ordinary when I passed through there. More on this later, though.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-treasure-d1-sm.jpg\" alt=\"To the folks of Forest. I buried valuable treasure somewhere in Acre D-1! He asked if I knew about them, and I said yes. So he wanted me to tell him about them, but all of the options were variations of &#8220;no.&#8221; I said &#8220;that&#8217;s my secret,&#8221; and he started crying!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-tom-cry-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Tom: Why?! Why won't you tell me!? Haven't I been good to you!? See what you've done! Here&#8217;s how the dump looked Sunday (before the Monday pick-up).<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-full-dump-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Nine heaps of trash in the dump.\" class=\"wp-image-6036\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-full-dump-sm.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-full-dump-sm-300x231.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Over by the wishing well today, Ursala said she found my blue bench for me. But she then took <strong>half the money in my pockets<\/strong> as her reward! That was over 17,000 bells!!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-ursala-depressing-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Ursala: Oh, you have only 17,351 bells with you?! Wow, no morals, no cash... Villagers shouldn&#8217;t be allowed to just reach in and take our money. \ud83d\ude21<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-ursala-ogre-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Ursala: ....... You filthy ogre! I hope you get stung by a thousand bees!\" class=\"wp-image-6038\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-ursala-ogre-sm.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-ursala-ogre-sm-300x231.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Mitzi&#8217;s replacement moved in today, and it&#8217;s Hazel the squirrel! She&#8217;s cute! \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-hazel-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Hazel: So...are you new in town? How splendid! Would you... Uh... Would you like to be friends with me?\" class=\"wp-image-6039\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-hazel-sm.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-hazel-sm-300x231.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>While walking around the museum, I fell into a pitfall behind the museum that was completely out of sight! I checked my map, and it was in Acre D-1. <em>This <\/em>is the &#8220;buried treasure&#8221; that Puck left for me! Thanks a lot, old friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After some more fishing tonight, I noticed my savings balance was just 85k from a big milestone. So I went back out to fill up my pockets a couple more times. When I was done, my balance reached 25 million bells!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-25m-sm.jpg\" alt=\"Pelly: Your balance is 25,000,000 bells.\" class=\"wp-image-6040\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-25m-sm.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/acblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ac-25m-sm-300x231.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>That meant I earned over 1.2 million bells just in the past week or so.
