Today, Curly asked me if I have an ant.<\/p>\n\n\n

Yes. And I have an uncle, too!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

He was asking about an ant that I caught off of a piece of candy. He wanted me to trade it for a kitchen wall, and I gladly agreed to the offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that June is here, there are some notable new bugs and fish available to be caught. That includes sharks and fireflies, and I spent waaaaaaay<\/em> too long trying to get a screenshot that included one of each. I caught a few sharks, but they weren’t near the part of the river where I would also see fireflies. So here are screenshots of a shark and some fireflies, separately. \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n\n\n

I also caught my first emperor butterfly, tarantula, goliath beetle, rainbow stag, and ocean sunfish of the year. \ud83d\udc4d<\/p>\n\n\n

As big as this is, it still looks small compared to the ones in New Horizons.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

I also got scared by my first oak silk moth. \ud83d\ude06 But we’re just one month away from the peak bug-hunting season (July and August). I plan on having another fun summer of hunting bugs (and sharks) this year. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Roost, I asked K.K. Slider for a random song. He performed K.K. Jazz for me, which is definitely not one of my favorites.<\/p>\n\n\n

Here are a few other quick notes about today’s session:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • I found a lovely lamp in the recycle bin. It looked like Bushido!<\/s> \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • I shot down a balloon present that contained a robo-sofa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Mint bought a sea bass from me for a whopping 211 bells. \ud83d\ude06<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
