Anyway, I decided to make a snowman. As I was making it, a balloon present flew by overhead.<\/p>\n

I made it right on the edge of the cliff. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a perfect snowman, but I still thought he looked pretty menacing from the lower level with his large presence looming overhead.<\/p>\n

I also decided to finally redecorate my house, at least the main floor. The gorgeous set went back into storage, and the snowman set came out. The farting gyroids remain.<\/p>\n

Later on, around 9:15, I opened up my gate. Yann came over to visit, and Jingle was in town for the Christmas Eve festival.<\/p>\n

If you don’t know how the festival works, it goes like this: You have to find Jingle somewhere in town. He can be outdoors or in an animal’s empty house. (He won’t be in a house if the animal is home). Talk to him and he will give you a piece of Jingle furniture. Once you leave him, he respawns somewhere else and you can do it over and over.<\/p>\n
Each piece of Jingle furniture sells for a whopping 12,240 bells, making Christmas the best holiday to earn lots of money. The only catch is that you have to change your hat (or accessory) each time, to trick Jingle into thinking you’re not the same person. But even if you don’t have tons of hats, you can use each pattern as a hat as well. And his memory doesn’t cover the entire night, so you can eventually re-use old hats.<\/p>\n

Yann and I were finding him pretty quickly, too. But after hunting Jingle for a while, I noticed that he hadn’t been in Bob’s house at all. I figured it was because Bob had been naughty.<\/p>\n

Jingle did eventually end up hiding in Bob’s house a few times though.<\/p>\n

Robin had a totem pole in her house, so while Yann was talking to Jingle, my inner Totem Rocker came out and I played that thing’s sound effect over and over and over and over. I helped Yann complete her Jingle set by trading her duplicates for other items she needed. I didn’t collect the set this time, I was just using it to make money.
