But my town quickly filled up as Yann, Olivia, and Jorge came in. The UFO was in town, since I shot it down yesterday. I suggested we all take a group photo by the UFO. The good thing is that it&#8217;s a Gulliver item I haven&#8217;t had before. I&#8217;ve now received all of the Gulliver items except for two: The tribal mask and the Metroid. The Metroid of course is the only one I&#8217;ve really cared about getting, and it still continues to elude me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After we hung out in my house for a while, we headed to Ables. Jorge displayed some starman patterns that we had plans for. Unfortunately, they were pro designs and didn&#8217;t have the star on the back of the shirt, which is what we needed. We will edit them and try our plan next time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After we left, we went into a couple animals&#8217; houses. We noticed Olivia wasn&#8217;t with us. Her batteries died, so she couldn&#8217;t move. A couple minutes later, it hit me&#8230;this was the <em>perfect<\/em> opportunity. I pitfall&#8217;d her. (Don&#8217;t question my grammar there, I&#8217;ve officially added pitfall&#8217;d into the Forest lexicon). \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5782\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/accfblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/RUU_2237-small.jpg\" alt=\"Olivia struggling in a pitfall.\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/accfblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/RUU_2237-small.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/accfblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/RUU_2237-small-150x113.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/accfblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/RUU_2237-small-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/>But pitfalling a helpless victim is like eating a potato chip&#8230;you can never have just one. But Yann &#8220;accidentally&#8221; pushed me into the pitfall. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anyway, we noticed Alice no longer had the shave-ice maker from last week. After the horrible things she witnessed, I can&#8217;t blame her for getting rid of it. The surprising part though, was that Bob now has it!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5780\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/accfblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/RUU_2239-small.jpg\" alt=\"Jeff: BOB has the ice shaver!\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/accfblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/RUU_2239-small.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/accfblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/RUU_2239-small-150x113.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/accfblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/RUU_2239-small-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/>I don&#8217;t quite understand the logic of putting a shave-ice maker between a candle and a wagon wheel, but Bob is one odd cat. After the first round, Olivia finally had batteries and was able to rejoin us. A couple minutes later, Yann&#8217;s batteries also died. She had to borrow some from a clock. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And a little bit later, my batteries died as well! Fortunately, I use rechargeables and I (almost) always have a spare set ready. At one point, it was Olivia&#8217;s turn to go count. But when she went outside, she fell into a pitfall. Jorge got her. Too bad I didn&#8217;t get to see it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We ended our game of museum tag at that point. We then went to Nook&#8217;s and discussed the fancy carpet. Jorge made sure I&#8217;d never look at it the same way again.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5775\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jvgs.net\/accfblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/accf-fancy-carpet.jpg\" alt=\"Tom Nook, displaying the fancy carpet: So? So it was just your typical night in Forest. Yann, Olivia, and I went back outside.
