I visited Tabby today, and she was being quite rude. She asked why I was so pale. Excuse me for not being orange like you! And she was also making ugly faces at me…not that that<\/em> part was anything new.<\/p>\n

\"Tabby:<\/p>\n

Outside, Drift informed me that Wendell was in town. He said Wendell was so hungry that he could eat a corn bread planet. I’ve never even heard of a corn bread planet! It does sound tasty, though.<\/p>\n

\"Drift:<\/p>\n

I found a new house in the spot where Bob once lived. I imagined how cool it would be if Bob himself had moved back into the same spot. But instead, I found Kabuki the cat inside. He’s no Bob, but he’s pretty cool too.<\/p>\n

\"Kabuki:<\/p>\n

Over by Nookington’s, Opal was gushing about Tom Nook. It almost made me sick! She said without him, we’d all be nothing more than animals.<\/p>\n

\"Opal:
We? Speak for yourself!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I rode the bus out to the city, and I saw Goldie there. She said she was going to borrow some ideas from the current model room at the Happy Room Academy.<\/p>\n

\"Goldie:<\/p>\n

I was curious to see what the model room was, so I went inside the HRA to check it out. Um…<\/p>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

Absolutely nothing! Lyle said that no rooms matched this month’s theme, so there was nothing to display. Remind me not to visit Goldie; she probably has no furniture at all! But then again, she is a dog. Maybe she lives in a doghouse.<\/p>\n

Back in town, I finally spotted Wendell. He begged me for food, saying he would eat anything.<\/p>\n

\"Wendell:<\/p>\n

I didn’t have any food on me, but he did say he’ll eat anything. So I tried giving him some yellow pansies.<\/p>\n

\"Wendell:
But you just said…<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I felt bad for the big oaf, so I shook a nearby peach tree and gave him a peach. In return, he gave me a “coloring Rover” pattern.<\/p>\n
