Today is New Year’s Day, and I received New Year’s greetings in the mail from Kitty, Roald, Goldie, Static, Bones, and Mom. The letter from Mom included 1,000 bells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The northern lights were up in the sky over Forest, so I took a picture of them from the bulletin board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"An<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Tortimer was standing outside of town hall, so that he could give out New Year’s shirts for 2020!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Tortimer:
What’s with your eyes, dude?<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The shirt is white and it has a rat on the front and 2020 on the back. That’s because 2020 is the year of the rat in the Chinese zodiac. Here’s a look at the shirt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I visited Bones, he was trying to recall the animals of the Chinese zodiac…and trying to figure out what year it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My monthly bank interest from the Bank of Nintendo helped my account balance top 39 million bells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
