I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before, but I typically deposit bells in multiples of 10,000 bells each day when I visit Resident Services. So if I have 33,000 bells, for example, I’ll put 30k into savings and just carry the 3,000. But on Monday, I only had 26 bells leftover in my pockets. So when I went into the Roost to buy some coffee for a Nook Miles+ goal, I couldn’t afford it!<\/p>\n\n\n

So I went back outside and shook a few trees until two of them gave me the bells I needed for my coffee. \u2615<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday, I found Truffles the pig at the campsite. She was staring at me pretty intently. \ud83d\ude06<\/p>\n\n\n

I already have Truffles in my Wild World<\/a> town, and one Truffles is more than enough. Besides, I don’t want to hog <\/em>up all the Truffles…es in the world. \ud83d\udc37<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday, Ketchup told me she wanted to go see the world to learn how to become famous.<\/p>\n\n\n

As much as I like Ketchup, I also don’t want my island to become stagnant. And Ketchup has had a nice long stay in Forest (3.5 years), so I decided to let her go…with the flow. (Sorry if this is a jarring <\/em>revelation.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, I went into her house for the last time to say goodbye. I’ll soon be all out of Ketchup.<\/p>\n\n\n

So long, Ketchup! I’ll miss you, but maybe we’ll meet again someday! Over burgers, perhaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Label was in town, and I realized I’ve been ignoring her for months. So I decided to check in with her for a change. She wanted to see me in something professional, like a work outfit. She gave me a western shirt to use as an example, but I instead went with a pilot’s uniform and captain’s hat. Label loved it, and she gave me some Labelle tights.<\/p>\n\n\n

Anyway, I’ll have to go villager hunting tomorrow. I’ll probably do my usual thing: I’ll take five (or so) Nook Miles tickets and see if I can find anyone good. If not, I may roll the dice and risk a random villager. I’ll be posting a new New Horizons Moments video soon, so maybe I’ll reveal my next villager there. Keep an eye out for that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
