On October 6th, Mira came up to me and asked if there were hearts fluttering around me!<\/p>\n\n\n

She wondered what was happening to her. I’m guessing this was something related to Katrina, making her feel smitten towards me. \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jack popped up in town, trying to recruit me for help on Halloween. However, I declined his offer. \ud83d\ude06<\/p>\n\n\n

He gave me a mummy mask, and told me to look out for the other monster masks in Able Sisters. He then disappeared, not to be seen again until the 31st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 9th, I found Lionel the lion camping at the campsite. I said hello, and that’s about it.<\/p>\n\n\n

Last Monday was Explorer’s Day, and Isabelle was hanging out at the event plaza to hand out sailboat models.<\/p>\n\n\n

There was also a face-cutout standee for the occasion, so I stuck my face into it and went for a cruise! Wait, I’m getting seasick… \ud83e\udd22<\/p>\n\n\n

Hornsby asked me to bury a time capsule for him, so of course I agreed to help out.<\/p>\n\n\n

Yesterday, Mira asked me to buy her jolly painting for almost 5,000 bells. Obviously, I didn’t need it, but I bought it anyway to be nice. As it turns out, it was actually a forgery, which made a bad deal even worse. Strike 1.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She asked me to catch a mitten crab for her, and I thought this would give me a good chance to earn her photo.<\/p>\n\n\n

I agreed to help her out, but mitten crabs weren’t out for the day yet. So I had to leave my 3DS in sleep mode for several hours. Once I did return, I went around the river countless times catching fish. It took me over an hour <\/em>of fishing, but I eventually caught one.<\/p>\n\n\n

I returned to Mira, and she told me I should take a break because I had been playing too long! But she was the sole reason I was playing so long, because she asked me for a rare fish<\/s> crab! Strike 2.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Then give me an easier request next time!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

So I give her the mitten crab, and she rewards me with…a watermelon table? I don’t need this! <\/p>\n\n\n

Strike 3, you’re out! I wanted to pitfall her, but I didn’t have a pitfall with me. So I did the next best thing, and took my toy hammer out. *smack*<\/p>\n\n\n

She wasn’t happy about that. \ud83d\ude06<\/p>\n\n\n

Trying to earn these photos is driving me crazy! \ud83e\udd2a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Aurora told me she thought I could use a space suit. Wait, what? Why? Does she know something I don’t? \ud83e\udd14<\/p>\n\n\n

Today, I listened in on a conversation between Lolly and Cube. Apparently Isabelle of all people<\/s> dogs is an instigator! She told Lolly that Cube was childlike.<\/p>\n\n\n

Naturally, Cube was insulted.<\/p>\n\n\n

Cube said he’s been drinking three cups of coffee every night in an attempt to be mature…even at the expense of his sleep schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n

Lolly said she didn’t know he was trying so hard, and she apologized. But Cube requested that she danced an “I’m sorry” dance to show that she really meant it. \ud83d\ude06<\/p>\n\n\n

She did it, reluctantly. Then they suddenly noticed I was standing there, and Lolly was embarrassed. Aww, it’s okay Lolly!<\/p>\n\n\n
