Birthday Party

While going through my collection list to see what I was still missing, I discovered that there were still quite a few accessories I needed from Clarice’s style shop inside Daisy’s boutique! I had forgotten that I didn’t already make all of her stuff…particularly the items that require magic crayons. That’s because I ran out of magic crayons when I was making accessories at the time, and I forgot to return later on. Oops.

Well, I started making all the ones I didn’t already have in my collection, including these Donald character shades.

July 31st was my character’s birthday, and Mickey threw a birthday party for me! The whole gang was there.

Mickey Mouse, at my birthday party: Happy birthday!Minnie Mouse even gave me a kiss! I don’t normally enjoy kisses from rodents, but she apparently kissed me from across the table (somehow). So it wasn’t too bad. 😛

Minnie Mouse: MWAH! That's a birthday kiss just for you!Once everyone wished me a happy birthday, Mickey gave me a present: It was this mini Mickey hat. Make sure to speak to Mickey on your character’s birthday to receive this for yourself!

Wait, how come Mickey was the only one who brought a gift? 😛

As the party wrapped up, we took a commemorative photo to remember the occasion by. I made sure to use my favorite pose. 😉

In case you’re wondering, my completion percentage is now up to 104.79%.

Halloween season in the game starts on September 9th. It seems that I still need a couple of Halloween items, so I’ll have to keep my eyes out for them. Enjoy the rest of your summer, and I’ll see you in the fall with my next update. 🙂

Easter Decorations are Finally Gone!

June 9th was Donald Duck’s birthday, so I tracked him down and he had a special request for me. He wanted me to make a sailing ship model for him. He gave me the recipe, and I took it to Chip and Dale’s workshop.

500 coins? Is that the sail price?

I made two of them, one for Donald and one to keep for myself. I took Donald’s ship back to him. Happy birthday, Donald!

Donald Duck: I'm putting this in my room right away. Come and see it!
I like how the characters go swimming in summer. It’s a nice touch.

As you can see in that picture, he said I could come and see the sailing ship model in his house. I wanted to see if that was true, and sure enough, it is!

It's the model ship you gave Donald!

At the café, I’ve been making the new summer foods that I mentioned last time. The food section of my catalog is now complete.

Food: 243/243As of yesterday (June 24th), the spring season has officially ended in Disney Magical World 2. Finally, no more Easter decorations and requests! The Easter season lasts way too long, just like it did in the first game. There’s no reason it needs to stick around 2+ months after Easter is over.

The Castle Street plaza is back to normal. Easter decorations are gone now.
Those Easter eggs were starting to stink anyway.

As for my café parties, it seems that I only need to hold four more parties until I’ve held them all! Other than that, there’s not much left for me to do in this game. I’m still missing some of the character birthday items, but that might be about it. My overall completion percentage for the game is at 102.52%.

Summer & Festival Items

May 25th was Goofy’s birthday, so I made sure to track him down on that date. As part of a favor, he gave me the recipe for Goofy paint buckets. It can be made over at Chip and Dale’s workshop. This picture shows what it looks like, as well as the ingredients needed.

One day, I was visiting Donald’s house, and Goofy commented on Donald’s furniture. He said that Donald’s chest looks like Donald’s chest.

Goofy: This chest looks like Donald's...er, chest. It's a chest-chest!
What a goofy thing to say.

Now that June is here, you can buy items from the festival and summer sets at McDuck’s. Here you can see the festival counter and festival screen. The festival bed and tropical resort water tank (from the summer set) are behind them.

I held a festival themed party to try out some of the new stuff; Mickey and Minnie showed up. Confetti falls in the cafe, and you can see fireworks on the back wall.

Interestingly, my collection status shows that I have over 100% completion. That’s kind of annoying when games do this, because you don’t know how far you have to go until it’s really complete.

Collection: 101.18%

But even though summer items are here, it’s still officially spring until June 23rd. So Easter decorations are still up, and characters will still keep wishing us a Happy Easter for a few more weeks! Crazy, huh?

Anyway, you may want to play on June 9th, which is Donald Duck’s birthday. You may get an exclusive item from him only on that date. 🙂
