On Monday, an old pest showed up as a tourist: Rizzo the rat. I thought I had exterminated him!

But since he was in the shop, I couldn’t pitfall him again. 😛

It was Peanut’s birthday, so I made sure to attend her birthday party! I gave her a tree’s bounty lamp.

She acted like it was really expensive…but actually, I just made it out of acorns. 🤷 But I’m glad she enjoyed the gift regardless. 🙂

Louie was also at the party, and he said he was in “party-flex” mode…whatever that is.

The next day, Wart Jr. was camping over at the campsite. I already have him in the GameCube game, so I don’t need any more Warts right now. 😛

On Thursday, another former resident appeared as a tourist: Hornsby! It was good to see him again! 🙂

And just tonight, Rio also returned for a visit. I found her enjoying some coffee in the Roost. 🙂

Outside Resident Service, I joined Merengue for a K.K. Slider concert. I asked for a random song, and he performed “K.K. Break” for us.

Here are a few other quick notes about the past week or so:

• Last Saturday, I returned a lost book to Louie. He rewarded me with a chef’s outfit. 🧑‍🍳
• K.K. Slider performed “K.K. Marathon” for me and Bob.
• On Thursday, I returned a lost bag to June. She thanked me with a terry-cloth nightcap.
• I sold 25 bugs to Flick for 105,000 bells.
• Yesterday, I sold 15 fish to C.J. for 226,500 bells.

On Sunday, I encountered Pascal while diving. He talked about birthdays…but not in a celebratory sense. And not even in a “we’re all getting older” way. It was much worse…

I’d rather not think about that, maaan. What is wrong with you? At least he gave me two pearls for my scallop.

The next day, I shook a tree and a skeleton fell out!

I thought the tree was a cedar, but maybe it was a bone-sai tree. I didn’t think to check it for more bodies; maybe it was actually a family tree. 😛

On Tuesday, I found an ostrich at the campsite. It was Blanche, and she seemed nice. But I did not invite her to move in.

I also caught my first shark of the season! I love this time of year, although July and August will be even better for the bugs. Yay for summer! 🙂

Gaston was in Nook’s Cranny (as a tourist) on Thursday, and he was wearing some bunny ears in front of his real bunny ears. 😆

Even though I thought that was pretty funny on its own, he then said this when I spoke with him:

Yesterday, I found Pascal again while diving. This time, he was talking about having difficulty sleeping.

Today, Bones told me he’s been fighting with Savannah lately. He asked me to take a gift to her. It was a zen uniform, and she seemed to like it. She rewarded me with a staff uniform. Meanwhile, Bones was happy to have things smoothed over, and he called me the best burrito. 😉 🌯

Here are a few other quick notes from this week:

• Last Saturday, I returned a lost comic book to Peanut. She rewarded me with a ninja costume. 🥷
• K.K. Slider performed “Steep Hill” in the rain for me, Savannah, Louie, Merengue, and Kid Cat.
• On Tuesday, I sold 12 bugs to Flick for 44,250 bells.
• I gave some medicine to a sick Merengue on Wednesday. She thanked me with a kung-fu tee. Good luck fighting that cold, Merengue!
• C.J. was in town, and I sold him 12 fish for exactly 150,000 bells.
• I helped out Gulliver today, so he’ll be sending me a reward in the mail tomorrow. (Update: He sent me an alpinist hat.)

On Monday, I was out on Lottie’s island and I stopped to take some photos. I particularly liked this one with the moon shining through the arch at the top of the hill.

After shipping more Forest goods at the dock, Kapp’n gave me some bonus hotel tickets. They kicked my current balance up to exactly 50,000!

Today, Savannah asked to visit my house. She apparently hasn’t visited yet, so I felt like I should agree to let her come over.

Once we got there, she almost immediately gave me a gift. And what a gift it was!

It was her photo! Wow! It seemed so soon to earn her photo, but I’ll take it! I guess I earned my stripes quickly! 😉 The only down side is that I had to sit through the rest of the 15-minute visit to wait it out. (I hate visits so much in this game.) Once she finally left, I put her photo on display. Her favorite quote on the back is “Keep your chin up!”

The plaza was looking really busy tonight. It’s rare seeing this many people here when it’s not an event night! There were five villagers, two tourists, one special character (Flick), and me.

Here are a few other quick notes about this week:

• On Sunday, I delivered a gift from Static to Savannah. She rewarded me with a school uniform with ribbon.
• I helped out Gullivarrr Monday, and he sent me a pirate outfit in the mail.
• On Tuesday, I caught my first banded dragonfly of the season. I also caught three great purple emperors.
• Tonight, I sold 29 bugs to Flick for 140k. I hope he has plenty of bells, because there will be more bugs to come this summer! 🙂
