Zelda Masks & Traditional KK

I got a letter in the mail from Aurora today. She thanked me for visiting her house yesterday and she sent me a washer/dryer. And while making my daily rounds today, I found four fossils…nice. Three of them were ones the museum needed, so I donated those and sold the other one.

I stopped in the Dream Suite, and Luna told me that 79 people have now visited my town in their dreams.

Luna: Records state the number of clients who have experience a dream about Forest is 79.I hope all these people weren’t expecting a whole lot, because my town still doesn’t have a lot going on just yet! But I did finally pick up the two pitfall seeds I had left on the ground outside my house though. Then I updated my dream, and once again, I got 5,000 bells for doing it!

I then headed next door to Club LOL. I gave Shrunk three peaches again, and he taught me the agreement emotion.

Shrunk: My old teacher's Agreement Joke is sure to CURE what ails you!Agreement was also a rare Frillard emotion in City Folk. In fact, I’ve been trying to get it for years! So this seems to back up my theory that you get “rare” emotions if you give him three fruits in a basket instead of just one fruit. Update: Apparently, it was just a coincidence. New Leaf doesn’t have “rare” emotions in the same way that City Folk did.

Next, I went into T&T Mart. It must have been my lucky Zelda day, because my two fortune cookies earned me Majora’s Mask and Midna’s Mask! Me wearing Majora's Mask in New Leaf.

Me wearing Midna's mask. After a quick stop at the Able Sisters, I headed back to town. It was only a little after 4:00 p.m., but Fuchsia commented about it being dark outside. It was sunny and bright out, so I don’t know what she’s thinking.

Fuchsia, in broad daylight: Yo, Jeff! It's dark out, so watch yourself! Uh-huh!After we talked, I saw her water some flowers! That’s pretty cool!

Pashmina walks away after watering some flowers.Aurora asked me to catch an orchid mantis for her. I actually hadn’t even caught one for the museum yet, so that meant I had to catch two of them. I remembered from City Folk that they hang out on white flowers, so I kept returning to the only white flower I saw. It actually didn’t take me too long to catch the two bugs. I gave one of them to Aurora, and she thanked me by giving me a common bed.

Aurora: It's a common bed.I took a break from playing at the time, but I returned after 8:00. Saturday is traditional K.K. night. Instead of being a DJ in the club, K.K. whips out his old acoustic guitar and sings one of his songs like he has done in previous games. I didn’t get a choice of songs this time, he just performed K.K. Flamenco for me. Shrunk was dancing in the background.

K.K.: Enough tuning--let's groove. This next one is for you, Jeff. It's called K.K. Flamenco. The game credits roll as K.K. Slider performs a song for me.K.K. Slider performs as I look on. Shrunk dances in the background. When he was done, he gave me a copy of the song to play at home. Unfortunately, I don’t think I have a stereo to play it on just yet. I’ll have to keep an eye open for one.

And that wraps up my day in Forest. I am tempted to go to the island later on tonight, but I probably won’t update the blog again tonight unless something noteworthy happens. But I will be back for another update tomorrow, so I hope to see you then!
