Meeting Wisp

Last night, I returned to the campground and saw that the fire pit was now lit up. It doesn’t burn during the day.

The fire pit at the drive-in campground.Rolf told me that he was planning on moving out of town on November 13th. Wait, the 13th? Isn’t that unusual for an animal to ask about leaving ten days in advance? It seems like it’s usually 5-6 days max. Unless they changed this in the update?

Rolf: I've already picked a day too. I'll be leaving on the 13th of this very month!I circled my town four or five times last night, trying to find Wisp, but I didn’t have any luck. But then today, when I wasn’t even trying, a voice contacted me.

???: I'm sorry to bother you when you're in the middle of something, but would you please come over here? The voice came from a lamp. Well, inside a lamp.

???: Well, hello! As you can see, I'm a lamp. I mean, I'm INSIDE a lamp. Rather important distinction.Of course Wisp was the ghost inside the lamp, and he asked me to take the lamp back to my house. So I did, and out he popped.

Wisp: Ta-dahh!He told me that he can possess the body of another person if I have an Amiibo. I used an Amiibo card of Stitches, and he turned into Stitches. Well, only in appearance.

Wisp, appearing as Stitches: Please, don't be confused. I'm still Wisp on the inside, and that's what counts. He told me that he can grant me one wish per day. I had the option of asking Stitches to move into town or I could get some furniture. I opted for the furniture option, and he gave me a claw-foot tub. He also gave me some MEOW coupons before he went away. But the lamp remained in my house, so I think I can use it again without having to find Wisp every day.

I visited the campground tonight, and Blanca was the special visitor today. But to my surprise, she had a face! Her true face revealed at last??

Blanca: See, I have a bit of a problem with letting other people define me. I've really gotta work on that...Uhh… I think she actually looked better without a face. Apparently it’s not just me that thinks that way. Her description on the touch screen admitted she still looks kinda creepy.

Blanca. Sure, she likes to stir up trouble around the town. But when you see her out relaxing at the campground, she looks so... Well, she still looks pretty creepy. As expected, my secret storeroom is now complete. When in my house, I can press an icon on the touch screen to access it. Sweet!

The secret storeroom.I went up to Nook’s Homes, and Tom Nook introduced me to Lottie. She taught me how to redecorate my house by using the touch screen.

Lottie: President Nook did ask me to provide you with some simple redecorating tips. So here I am!
Please don’t call him that.

It works just like it did in Happy Home Designer, so I caught on quick.

Done and done. Now I'm basically a DIY genius!I immediately paid off the storeroom at the post office.

This is what the touch screen looks like when in my house now. The icon to the left of the light switch activates touch screen decorating controls, and the icon on the right lets you access your secret storage.

The touch screen options for HHD style redecorating mode (left) and secret storeroom (right).

I didn’t mention this the other day, but Kabuki has started appearing on Main Street recently. He moved out of town back in September 2015.

Kabuki, on Main Street: Confession time: I came by because I was missing Forest. Isn't that just like me?My recent dream visitors have been Ben from B-Town and Angovis from Unova.  Thanks for stopping by! My new dream visitor count now stands at 12. 😛 See you next time!
